Pretty good gameplay loop for what it is. Cards have good synergy and the style is kind of cool. The showdowns can get pretty intense. Perfectly acceptable at the price it is at.

The monsters look like they came from a corporate party, not from a book. Very monotonous gameplay, little variety Buy only for steam cards and achievements. 5/10

show me what you got... a simple way to make the lesser breed ragequit, but the end... now that's a pretty pickle, considering how long it takes to outplay an NPC with cards, lol 6.7 Fun Rating (the visuals could be more smooth, it's rough and raggy... but i guess there is an appeal to how ''coloring out of the lines'' it looks).

Fun casual collectable card battle game. I played for around 1.5 hours and just beat Cthulhu. You can play more if you like and collect more cards and defeat harder modes. I'm guessing it would take around 5 hours to obtain all the achievements. + Fast paced, hard to put down, addictive + The art style and monsters are really colorful and well drawn, original designs + Lots of cards to collect, intricate fast paced battle system, you have to think and act quick + Lots of value for only $1, hours of gameplay + Good sense of progression, never stuck, always unlocking new stuff - The monsters are not H.P Lovecraft designs, the last boss is a funny looking Cthulhu but the rest of the monsters are just original monsters. Would have been better to include Dagon, Nyarlathotep etc... - If you don't get the right cards, its nearly impossible to win - Sometimes the battles can be a bit too fast paced, causing you to accidentally play the wrong card Overall Rating: 7.5 / 10 !

cool art. beat this game awhile back. fun 100%. nothin too serious. sometimes i come back to this game while jorkin' it. cool art and fun synergies. for as cheap as it is it's definitely an enjoyable game. cool art too. some characters are hot. one time my mom walked in while i was playing and she thought that it was cool i could shoot a fireball at cthulhu (she does dabble in lovecraftian media from time to time). very fast paced game that could fill your time slots while waiting for your friends to hop on. really cool art too. might go back and try and beat it again on the highest difficulty. maybe this time while jorkin it. really fucking cool art in this game by the way. worth the dollar imo.
