Chippy is a twin-stick bullet-hell shooter that challenges players to dismantle pixelated bosses piece by piece. Each encounter requires quick reflexes and strategic use of power-ups to expose and destroy the enemy's core. The game's simple yet addictive mechanics make it easy to pick up but difficult to master. Players can choose between an "Easy" or "Nightmare" mode, catering to both newcomers and seasoned veterans. The addition of local co-op allows friends to team up and tackle bosses together, adding a layer of camaraderie to the intense action. Features: -14 Multi-Phase Bosses: Each with unique attack patterns and weaknesses. -Power-Ups: A variety of offensive and defensive options to suit different playstyles. -Leaderboards: Compete for the fastest times and climb global rankings. -Replays: Watch and learn from other players' strategies. -Steam Workshop Support: Create and share custom stages. -Local Co-Op: Team up with a friend to take down bosses together. The game's minimalist art style focuses on vibrant neon colors and fluid animations, creating a visually striking experience. The soundtrack complements the high-energy gameplay, with electronic beats that keep the adrenaline pumping. While Chippy offers a compelling challenge, the difficulty spikes can be frustrating. The game's reliance on memorization and quick reflexes can be demanding, and occasional random elements may lead to unexpected outcomes during runs. Chippy is a fast-paced, action-packed shooter that rewards precision and perseverance. Its engaging gameplay, coupled with the satisfaction of dismantling bosses pixel by pixel, makes it a standout title for fans of the genre. Whether playing solo or with a friend, Chippy delivers an exhilarating experience that keeps players coming back for more. Rating: 8/10

Neat bullet-hell shooter with several innovations. I feel pretty good at games like this, but found it very hard! Most of the stages on the second tranche of the game took me many tries. I beat Xulgon ("regular" difficulty) with a similar amount of practice (and subsequent satisfaction!) as late levels in Celeste... yikes!

The idea of chipping through your enemy is very fun, and is executed even better. Only critique is that sometimes at the start of stages you are bombarded, but still 10/10. Only game where you can fight the credits.
