A solid dice builder with loads of classes, scenarios, relics and enemies. New mechanisms are elegantly introduced as you progress. I’ve played a lot of dice games but nothing like this. For this price and content it’s 9/10. I’m not even halfway through it.

I bought three different rouge-like-ish games during the spring sale of 2026. This game was the ugliest and the least discounted. This was still the cheapest one though. I ended up refunding the other two games because this was just leagues better. It's much more fun, the runs are pretty short. Circadian Dice proves that gameplay trumps everything else in the end. A bit similar to the mobile game Slice & Dice which I absolutely adore.

This is a dice roguelike game. You pick a character who comes with their own mechanic and set of dice, and then take on various monsters. A "run" is just a continuous string of around 6 or 7 fights that take around 15 minutes to complete. Most of your choices boil down to rerolling your dice, changing the various dice faces, and choosing when to use your abilities. The moment to moment gameplay is pretty gripping and gives you a lot of control, despite the central mechanic being rolling dice. The gameplay is very well designed, in that you get a good challenge with a lot of long term vs. short term decisions. There is also a good variety of enemies and characters, making runs look very different from another. As you complete runs you unlock new levels and character, as well as artifacts that modify the run at the beginning. Honestly, for the low price tag this game is very, very well thought out. That said though, while the individual runs themselves are good, everything else in the game is not so great if you ask me. You do unlock a longer run mode by the end, that allows you tackle the various levels in a row or different random monsters forever, this does feel like an afterthought. I would have liked to see more gameplay elements between runs or additional mechanics in a run. Another downside of the game is that it does look and sound not so great. I am sure some people appreciate the art style, but I do not, and the UI is pretty uninspired. During a fight the enemies and your character just float in black space with pretty generic sound effects punctuating various actions and the same music just playing over and over again. Despite these complaints, the game is $6 and does go on sale regularly. Without a doubt the gameplay alone is worth it for that low cost. Bottomline, if you are a roguelike fan or dice game fan, this is well, well worth it. Yes the game is not much to look at or listen to, but the gameplay should satisfy.

In my opinion, the best single-player digital dice game ever designed. This game isn't another forced Balatro, Slay the Spire or Vampire Survivors clone, but the overall design is absolutely phenomenal and original, and in terms of gameplay satisfaction, I'd say it's on par with the three titles mentioned above. All the elements are perfectly thought out and work together on all levels. From the very first minutes of gameplay, you know we're dealing with something unique and special. The gameplay surprises at every turn, new mechanics and elements added as you progress make you smile with disbelief and satisfaction...this game takes no prisoners, brazenly killing and captivating at every turn :) I've played most of the dice-driven games available on the market, and nothing comes close. The graphics in this game are, to put it mildly, less than spectacular, which absolutely doesn't change the fact that you'll be staring at the screen spellbound, as if you were experiencing the most beautiful game ever :) I can't recommend this title enough. 5 stars, 10/10 masterpiece in its category. And I'm saying all this in 2026, day before Slay the Spire II release.

This game is probably the best dice-based rpg I've played. Here's where it shines - Each class plays differently, has different strengths and weaknesses. Each Relic changes your abilities. Each dungeon has a different focus. There are "secret" areas you can access by killing the right enemies in the right order. There are multiple ways of beating a level. There is the ability to rig a die to an almost absurd degree, and some runs feel downright silly for how well an idea will work. The runs themselves are short (8 waves, usually), which means it becomes a perfect game to play on a weekend while enjoying a cup of coffee. I've played this game for years, and I still find myself coming back to it, to beat the next dungeon with the next class. I'm not sure what I'll do when I finally master all the dungeons.
