A few points by which this game is better than Cities: Skylines: - It doesn't loads for literal hours on older PC's - It doesn't requires buying metric ton of DLC's - It is more streamlined compared to amount of redundant features in C:S.

Very cool city builder that includes the possibility to steer your society in different directions. Basically this is SimCity Societies in way bigger and way more realistic, but not as romantic or playful. And it pokes fun at Will Wright and EA here and there, which is nice.

Very enjoyable game and love the in-depth mechanics for the economy simulation. The game really is meant for one city and not multiple cities in the region, as the continuation is pretty pointless as the game does get repetitive. It's a shame that the developer has not updated this game in a while. I would have loved to see more assets and overhauls added to the game. I however wouldn't pay £20 for the game. Definitely wait for a sale of 50% or more. 7/10

I wasn't even aware that (almost) everything was made by one single person. This game is excellent. Very basic in the city-building, sure, but the economy/social/governmental aspects are what makes it stand out from the rest of the SimCity/Cities Skylines wannabes. No idea what all the negative reviews are about, this is an unbelievably good result for a one-man-team.
