Target Audience: [I] Those who like Tension Summary: Horror is in a weird place right now for me in general in both games and movies. It's easy to look at things like Five Night's at Freddy's and some of the main stream horror titles, and realize how the jump scare has taken over the genre. You know what, that horror, it can work. FNAF is a great design in many cases. But for me, it's not a game that will get under my skin. Sure, it may make me jump, but it won't bury itself and make me tense up for periods of time. No, it's games like Clea that will make me do that. A slow but methodical psuedo stealth and puzzle game, Clea is about avoiding the horrors within the Whitlock Manasion and trying to escape the deadly monster and chaos servants with your brother in toe. You'll do that by ducking into cabinets and attempt to listen to the footsteps of servants coming at you, and let me tell you, this game has some of the best information sound design for a horror game, especially at the indie level. Learning of how close and how fast a servant is approaching is easy to understand from the game's audio, but it also expects you to figure it out on your own and to be frank, it does a great job of doing that. It's a game that keeps the pace in terms of spooks, and frankly it's a game that will actually make you creeped out without being gross. A great target for a sale. Overlooked Games Section: https://youtu.be/4jSwgqmsSmg?t=784 Lists: Positives: [*] Sound Design gives all the information that you need, and is one of the best directional sound systems I've seen at an indie game level. [*] Tension is the name of the game here: and Clea captures it. [*] [*] The weird “spooky” effects legit caught me off guard and made me wonder for a good time, getting me killed once. [*] Colorful presentation that puts emphasis on what you need to focus on. [*] Captures the atmosphere of the spooky game. Negatives: [*] It can be frustrating with the first sections of gameplay not knowing exactly what is going on, and not being taught directly on how to play. It's not the type of game that you can be impatient with. [*] Story could use a little more oompf in the first section of the game. [*] It won't wow you compared to other horror games, but it's not what it's trying to do If you want more reviews/information regarding games I've reviewed, visit my curator. PROS [*]2D Live Characters. [*]No Jumpscare. your skills alone determine her fate. [*]Full Voice. [*]Challenging stages. [*]Nice Art. I like it. and also I like Rewards. [*]Interesting soundtrack. CONS [*]No Steam Cloud or Cloud Storage. Your progress will not save to up even you have to play on other device. [*]BUGS when you open the game and didn't appear anything. ADDITIONAL NOTE Clea, an beautiful and cute girl has a younger brother whom she loves so much named Edmord. Their parents are scientists (even though I don't know what scientists they are). Clea's family has many maid who is always ready to serve the Family. Clea has strange disease involving Clea's Chaos ( although similar but she is not a Doppelganger ) to haunt her mind. But don't worry, if you bring some red herbs and use it, Clea will be safe. In this game, you have to be able to find a way out to be able to survive from the house. There will be many challenges involved. There are many types of challenges on Main Menu to playing them. The game have Multiple Endings and Secret chapters, maybe it will be very difficult for you if you can finish them in less than 1 hour. The most important thing is this game doesn't have Jumpscare might not be complicated if played one. I suggest to you to play this game at night. Because this game has a horror genre and it will be very challenging if you play it at night and don't forget to use a headset with loud sound [quote=Eraise] Santuy dan Kalem voss, game ini seru banget RECOMMEND ? Yes. The game has no Jumpscare so it's safe for you even i'm very lazy for playing jumpscare one. Nice and short indie horror-ish story with nice visuals, nothing special, but nothing bad either.

Clea is a game that I've been following since it was a mere concept art from the developer. At the time, I wasn't very interested in the project; mainly because the original art wasn't very beautiful (sorry XD). But then, all of a sudden, the character designer which worked with InvertMouse on his previous projects came back. And then... I saw it. The new version of that original concept art; and it looked fabolous. I was stunned; those eyes, that direct gaze at the player, almost emotionless and soulless, devoid of any life, made me think: "Wow. This... this is fantastic! Maybe it's for the best if I follow this project, it may turn into something very interesting." And man, was I right! Clea is not just a game, is not just a survival horror with BOO-JUMPYSCURE (sarcasm). Clea is a game made with PASSION and LOVE, and this can be noticed by playing through it. Every level has a different aestethic, ambience, puzzle to solve; and the enemies are, in the beginning, simple. But just to give the player the sensation that "huh, this is okay. I can make it." But then BOOM, past level 2 all changes! And that is where the trouble begins; in fact, my first death the first time I played was in level 3. Probably because of the fact that a certain character made me jump from my chair (and there are no scripted scares, remember) and lose control of the controls. Which, by the way, are, in the beginning, a little awkward (I played with my keyboard, but it is playable with a controller too, and controls can be changed in the options menu at your leisure) to use, but after a short amount of time you'll get used to it, believe me; another important thing to say is that they are responsive. Given the fact that Clea is a survival horror, responsive controls are really important, aren't they? Enemies in Clea ARE NOT STUPID. Make just a little sound, and they'll hunt you down almost immediately; there are some cases in which you'll end up cornered if you don't pay enough attention to your objects in the inventory or the enemies' routine, and your surroundings. And now, enters the most beautiful mechanic in Clea: hearing. All the game is based around hearing the footsteps of the enemies, trying to understand all the time the distance and the area in which they are. If you get spotted, you can hide, run away, or... use other methods, which I won't talk about, because it would be a spoiler. And there are various types of enemies; some common, some... let's say special. Especially at higher difficulty levels, these last ones will cause real trouble to you; you'll end up swearing, trust me. Since I don't want to go on forever writing (even if I'd like to, I love Clea), I will talk just a little about graphics and sound. I mean, aestethically the game is really good, and the sound design is obviously really good; even though when there are maybe multiple enemies nearby, judging enemies' distance can become a bit of a... chaos. He-he. There are secrets and easter eggs scattered here and there, all for you to uncover. Puzzles are well done, they're simple but effective. And I like this. There are multiple levels of difficulty, and they are: Light, Dark, Chaos. Chaos is locked at the beginning, and Light is your Normal difficulty setting. While Dark is Hard. And Chaos is... uhm... let's see, have you ever played the original God of War? Okay, now replace the word God with something like... let's see, Clea is a young girl, so, maybe... Maiden? Maiden of War; yeah, that sounds nice, doesn't it? Chaos is like God difficulty in the original God of War; you'll have little time to breath between an action and the other. Trust me. There are multiple endings, and they all are interesting and well put into the story; they're never strange or out of place. Hell, there's one which would probably be what a real person would do, it he/she was in Clea's shoes. The only bit of disappointment is that there isn't an ending which I hoped for; I even asked the developer after beating 100% Clea, and he confirmed that there isn't such an ending. Unfortunately. I'm sad :( But I'm happy at the same time, because I got a glimpse of that possible ending in a secret scene which I unlocked by pure, sheer luck. I'm not joking, it was just a matter of luck XD Sorry if this was too long, but I usually don't write reviews on games, and so I wanted this to fell special. Hope you liked it; see you around, and I hope you'll play Clea as I did \^o^ You can post a comment if you want to ask me something, by the way :) I'll be playing Clea now, there are one or two things I'd like to see again :D

Clea is a anime horror stealth game, you must hide from the bad peeps while collecting items and progressing through levels it can get really hard at times, you only have a limited number of saves which are represented by candles (candles are like the ink save in the old resident evil games) and the game isn't generous with the amount of candles you get, you have to look around in every room to get a good balance between saving and having candles, however the enemies makes the saving that much more punishing, since you'd mostly have to wait patiently for the bad guys to move and or lure them to different rooms, but doing so can take a lot of time, so having patience is key for succeeding in the game. So Clea is definitely a difficult game to get through, but the game does reward you different rewards based on the missions you complete in each level (missions like getting through a level without saving/without being seeing) and the rewards range from the amazing sketches and the complete versions of the artworks of the game to skins for your character, and you get this nice feeling after completing each level, so even though I spent a lot of time on levels I felt rewarded. This game is cool.
