I speedran the sh*t out of this game haha! Could have refunded with all achievements, but not gonna do so. Games like these keep me chasing my own dream of developing a game. Keep the good stuff up.

Fun little game, which you can pass in a couple of afternoons. Lovely Idea and lovely note at the end. Also, a game in which you can easily get all the achievements. :)

Enjoyable clicker. A lot of fun for $4. Took me just under 6 hours to 100% it, which is something like 63 cents per hour of fun, which isn’t bad in my book. Definitely recommend it. But I’m actually leaving this review because the dev left a statement at the end of the game about hoping their game can help people through tough times. I played quite a bit of this while my toddler was asleep on my lap with a fever. He’s teething and miserable, but he fell asleep watching me blow up tanks and infantry units. The game helped both of us get through part of a rough day. Very appreciative of the devs message. They said they read the reviews, so thank you dev, from my boy and I 🫡

This game falls into the category of games I call 'Dopamine Games', or games that give you very frequent and regular achievements that are fun because you make progress all the time. The kind of games that Real Civil Engineer showcases on YouTube. I play these games to wind down. I don't have to think about them and I can just grind away and forget about all the real world stuff I have to deal with for a short time. This is now one of my go-tos for that kind of game. Compared to games like NodeBuster and Magic Archery, this game fits in the Goldilocks zone of not being over too fast, not taking forever to complete; it's just right in terms of size for me. I do think that the achievement curve isn't as smooth as it could be; it seems easier in the later game than it does either very early on, probably because you have to reach a certain critical mass before your map and progress saves are automatic, but generally I find it a fun way to zone out. A few quirks aside, this is a very well constructed game and if you're looking for something that gives you regular shots of dopamine without taxing you too hard, you could do a lot worse than this game. I personally hope the dev puts out more in this vein.

An allright ~2 hour experience. Once you've played the first 5 minutes, you've also already seen the last 5 minutes. Other than map skins nothing really changes; progression both through the research and prestige trees give bigger numbers and bigger bombs, but nothing evolves. Every new tier unlocks mostly the same couple of upgrades with a different name. I wouldn't recommend this game, but I don't regret playing it either. For only a few bucks though, I lean towards a thumbs up.
