I truly think this game will be remembered as a masterpiece - a faithful addition to the Hellraiser lore with a compelling story that keeps punching. Not only is the set design gorgeous, but certain cutscenes made me forget I wasn’t seeing actual actors in makeup. It manages to find so much beauty in its violence and horror that I’d often have to stop and just… absorb the scenery. The characters are so well written too and the lore is fun to read without feeling tedious or like I need notes to understand what is happening. It’s a perfect balance of collectible documents and natural storytelling. Huge credit to all the voice actors too because they absolutely sold their roles. Also Zora is my mom now.
He doesn’t judge or moral you. He will let you explore your desires and extreme sensations. The box. You opened it. They came. . . And thus began your twisted journey through hell and pleasure. This nightmare is very faithful to original source material. I would say even so that they will step out of the boundaries and shows more of creativity and deepness of this world. Its dark, its bloody and body heavy touch. You will be stopped by sceneries that will drop your jaws on the floor. This game is not for the light of hearts. I was a bit sceptical and worries about how they will manage to do gameplay loop and mechanics on this game but all my doubts were gone after just couple of minutes of gameplay. Developers knew what they were doing and thats the scary part. They nailed every aspect every corner every detail so good that this game acts to real. Good gameplay mechanics, very nice and meaty gore with melee weapons. Shooting gives that edge you need and crave for your freedom to escape. Just one more push to that last step. Exploring the outer world is scary and pushing adrenaline fact. You will meet every cenobite. They will not leave you alone. They will push your nightmares to the limit. I don’t have praise enough for how detailed everything looked and how biting this experience was. This is by far one of the greatest Horror franchises there is and forever will be. There are no other like Pinhead and cenobites. We should be grateful that this game exist and be praised to explore future nightmare sensations or pleasure which way you desire. “No negative reviews please. It’s a waste of good suffering”
