Best optimized game I have played in a long time surprisingly. I have a rocket launcher in endless mode with an rpm well north of 600 that shoots ~30 projectiles that spawn even more on impact with no frame drops. I also had double enemy spawns that run. Optimization is something the gaming industry constantly ignores but this game is a golden standard, for my hardware at least.

This game is as addicting as ROR2 was on launch. the soundtrack gives some good island bangers. 10/10 fun. game looks great and runs well. My only wish is that they add hats down the road.

Not only is the game fun and the mechanics crisp, it's also highly educational. For example, I never knew that the crab's natural predator is the giant flaming skull.
