I have NO ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SPACE FOR ANYTHING god this game is annoying why are you making me cram everything into the tiniest space possible with the most expensive expansion costs. My people are getting stuck because everything is literally stacked on top of each other because THERE IS NO DAMN SPACE WTF WERE YOU THINKING Okay but the game is still kinda fun...

A decent mini-game that isn't especially expensive for its type. Could be fun for few hours but its really nothing special. Because you do almost nothing in the game. Everything is automated, by manualy clicking on craft/gather stations you increase the production, but otherwise people do it by themselves. You can buy stuff but you don't really need to. Unlocking new herbs/ores/potions is simple, sometimes logical, sometimes - if you forget the honesty - kind of dumb. You craft XY healing potions, you unlock greater healing potion - alright. Bake enough bread, you unlock pie - alright. But then you have mines. Mine enough copper, you suddenly find tin in there. Mine enough tin, you suddenly find gold ore under it. etc. eeeh...alright, for the simplicity. But then you have herbs, my doom. you grow XY wildflower, you unlock devils thorn. grow XY devil thorn and you unlock everlasting herb. etc, etc. The problem here I had was that you can manualy fill the fields with seeds and they grow, and you collect them, but herbs that require an NPC with higher level herbalism skill CAN'T be planted that way, they themselves have to plant it. I assumed the manual sowing is just to speed it up and so once one of your npc gets enough level, the herbs requiring it could also be planted that way, but aparently not. So... I have 200+ basic herbs but zero advanced ones. I have abandoned mine unlocked, over 80k in treasury, many things. Now the quest is to build blacksmith but because I didnt manage to grow the advanced herbs, I am several discoveries away from unlocking fire resist potion. Which needs high herbalism for fire herbs, which I need to increase the levels for by running lower dungeons even though I have already gathered everything from it. Also.... the jump for buying new land jumping from 10k to 500k is... REALLY drastic. 200k would still be drastic for me. And once your village starts to get crowded, you quickly loose oversight of many things. Decent 5,5/10. Still above the half, so I do recommend it with a slight reservations.

Not Much Creation What I Liked Not many games out there have the player manage a guild, so it’s nice to see when one is released. For the most part, the game does a decent job allowing me to manage a guild. There isn’t a lot to manage, but there is enough there to have fun with it. What I Did Not Like It’s a clicker game for one, which I never like. But it forces more interactivity with the game. I also do not get enchanting at all. I don’t like it. I don’t get enough materials from it. It is hampering my gameplay experience. The town building is just a layer for unlocking new things and to fill the screen. It doesn't really add much. Why I Stopped Playing I’ll play it for a couple days and then get my fill. For the price, it’s fun for a day or two. Disclaimer I have been a gamer for over 30 years. I tend to play mostly PC games. I also bounce around between games A LOT. I may purchase a $70 game and play it for 2 hours or spend $10 on a game and spend 50 hours on it. Even if I played a game for a short time, it does not mean it is bad. It just means another game caught my attention. I also complain about flaws in games a lot, even about the littlest of things. Keep that in mind when reading my reviews. If I do not have a complaint, then the game must be special!

It's a solid management game with a really solid dev team who has been super active after launch with responses and patches to add request improvements; so the game is getting better literally every day. All of the professions stuff is automated by default (Collecting herbs, crafting potions, cooking, etc..) and you eventually unlock automation for stuff like sending your guild members out on personal jobs for extra gold or even sending dungeon/raid groups in to dungeons/raids hundreds of times in a row. So I personally like to keep the game on 1x speed and just play it as a chill 2nd monitor management game, but you can also crank up the speed if you wanna play actively. My only requests for the dev team right now are: 1) I hope a tank spec for Druid gets added some day. 2) I would love if players could choose one of at least a few different affinity abilities at character creation and unlock it over time just like the NPCs do. I like that you can start a new playthrough on the same save and have your previous character join your guild, but they're kinda useless compared to the NPCs that carry over a maxed out affinity ability.

This is a fun little game that simulates managing a WoW guild. You start with one character that you create and then need to recruit other people of various classes, group them into parties and send them off to dungeons to gain levels and gear. In the meantime you build a little settlement which lets you expand your guild and supplies your parties with potions, buff food, enchants and the like. The ultimate goal is to defeat the hardest endgame raids. After clearing the last raid, you get to transfer a lot of your gold, unlocks and member relations to a new game, where your previous starter character will become a recruitable hero - so there's some light metaprogression too. I rarely write reviews, but in this case, I felt the current "Mixed" score so unjustified (it deserves better), I had to add my vote for fairness' sake. The devs are very responsive and are pushing out serious updates every day since release, you can tell they really care about their game. As a result it already improved a ton compared to its launch state. One of my main gripes is the lack of manual equipment distribution (characters pick their items automatically and you also can't save gear to be given to new characters), but they already promised to address that in an upcoming patch with a guild bank feature. I also see a lot of reviews complaining about the pacing, but I found it to be just right. I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't such a complete walk in the park either. For instance my first ever raid (against the Onyxia-type dragon) ended in a wipe because our dps was lacking and the healers ran out of mana halfway through, which is quite a familiar scene from my early WoW days. :D But after recruiting some better dps and adding a paladin and a druid for their mana regen buffs, we claimed our first raid epics! Brought back memories for sure. :) My first foray into the Blackwing Lair-equivalent place met a similar fate, but for different reasons. I had to read through the combat log to realize that the black dragon boss was doing some mega combo attack targeting the first 3 tanks... and I only had 2, sooo... yeah, there are some challenges, even if most raids were on the easier side. Overall I had a great time and I think the game has room to grow as they could add more and bigger raids (largest one is 15-man at the moment), more gear, more classes, more character customization, etc.
