I know I'm only a few hours in, but I'm really enjoying it so far. Yea, I get some of the complaints, but I just had an epic duel with a knight and hunted down a wanted man and turned him in. This game won't be everyone's cup of tea, but it's definitely scratching the itch for me.

A MESSAGE FOR THOSE WHO CAME HERE BECAUSE OF THE TRAILERS Before buying you must know one: it’s game not classical RPG in open world like The Witcher 3 or Skyrim. It originated from an MMORPG project from which the online and MMO elements were removed. And since I’ve spent around 1,000 hours playing this studio’s game (Black Desert), I feel I should warn you about something. This is a fantastic game with an open-world setting and a wealth of mechanics. You need to be prepared for the fact that progression in this game is more gradual and wide-ranging. If you’re just looking for a great action game with stunning graphics and an epic storyline, you’re likely to be disappointed when the game forces you to engage in typical MMORPG activities: grinding and gathering. Conversely, if you were expecting a laid-back, leisurely RPG sandbox, you too risk making the wrong choice, because, as the successor to Black Desert, Crimson Desert features a fairly dynamic and expansive combat system. I wouldn’t expect the game to have a particularly engaging storyline either. I wouldn’t dare judge it until I’ve played through the game, but I know that in Korean games, the storyline usually scores around 6/10. I’d love to be proven wrong, but miracles are rare. But if you’re looking for a deep game with a wealth of mechanics that you’ll want to get to grips with and immerse yourself in for hundreds of hours, then this is most likely the game for you. I’d like to congratulate the developers on the release of their new project! And I very much hope that after a couple of dozen hours, I won’t change my mind.

Its a very pretty game and i think it does have potential BUT and this is a big BUT that need to like give us some more in game details on why we are doing what we are doing not just "Go to this tavern for information" "Arm wrestle guy and he tells you that your strong and humble" Quest update go talk to the beggar Why am i talking to this beggar? How do i know this beggar exists? "Talk to beggar give him a gold and he gives me a key and says your kind" walks around corner and turns into dust *Confusion .jepg* Look at key and wonder what the hell this key goes to Quest update enter sewers hear something about crying in the sewer Suppose thats something Go into sewer rescue noble lady whose tied up She tells me im kind and hands me a letter then disappears *Quest update go talk to the kid* "How do i know this kid exists and that he needs help?" Help kid get his cat back He also disappears *Confusion ,jepg part 2* "Key changes and quest update to go to the castle" "How do i know this key even belongs to that building?? Ive seen multiple locked doors at this point in this town how do i know this key goes to one of the doors in the castle" Go to castle Hear lady talking about door is locked try key door opens See shiny chest open chest weird dimensional portal opens *Surprised .jepg* Go through and get given weird thing by talking crow to progress the game. Struggle for 10 minutes to figure out what buttons activates new power (More or less if the game gave a bit more insight on why we are doing this thing how we are getting this information is it wouldn't be as bad it is a very very beautiful game and it runs amazingly for its day 1 launch BUT its got some things that need to be worked out control bindings story reasons etc)
