Off the bat (and the beaten path): If you are looking for a delightful adventure game that will take you places, let you journey through the less traveled roads of Europe, discover interesting facts, cultures and history (albeit with a fictional twist) and solve well-thought and unique puzzles, this game is for you. It doesn’t have the production value of a Broken Sword in Lithuania, but I can see how it has the heart, curiosity and sense of discovery and exploration of the beloved Revolution series, without being derivative. You won’t have to chase templars – for once! Keep in mind though: this is the first game of an indie studio, and leniency is required to fully enjoy it, especially in regards to the overall quality of the 3D, animation and UI. If you are playing on Steam Deck, I highly recommend using the mouse-only configuration and avoid direct control at all costs. This said, the artistic direction the game took, and the detailed reproduction of actual places around Europe is a sight to behold, and the voice acting is absolutely stellar and definitely among the best I have ever experienced in a game so far. The fact that some puzzles vary depending on the career path chosen for the protagonist might have affected the overall puzzle design/hint system, as well as made the difficulty level unbalanced in some situations, but in my personal experience I had an amazing time and I found the level of challenge perfectly fine tuned. I have read several reviews lamenting the difficult platforming sections or the illogical nature of puzzles in game, but I haven’t experienced any of it. I am not sure if the career path I chose (she was a programmer) had any part in it, but I found the puzzles always logical, with enough clues to nudge you to the right direction without handholding or being obscure. The platforming section that pushed several players to rage quit the game was pretty doable when I did it. Either the stars aligned when I played, the developers fixed these aspects of the game in gradual updates, or else I can’t explain the rift between extremely positive and extremely negative reviews. I have to admit the beginning and the end of the game are a bit weaker than the strong middle part, but I am a it’s-the-journey-not-the-destination kind of person, and I was impressed and delighted every step of the way, from Chicago to… well, that’s for you to find out 😉 *** My Steam Curator Page: https://store.steampowered.com/curator/43938467-TheGamingMom/

So far this game has been enjoyable with a few negatives that some reviews here have already mentioned. Let's start with the pros: 1. The locations are beautifully done and the graphics are not bad. 2. The dialogue is funny. Made me laugh at least. 3. Characters are cute and lovable! Cons: 1. The story and plot is kinda all over the place. 2. Some puzzles are OK but most are frustrating. You do need a walkthrough cuz a lot are either trial-and-error or just plain illogical and you're stuck not knowing what the game wants you to do to find the solution. 3. The main character walks really slow. Overall, I'd give it a 7/10 !

I love it ♥ Bright-full, simple puzzles, simple story. You can dress up main character - first time I see this haha, nice lil touch! Good voice over, feels like characters talking and reacting to the environment and what other character said. Very much looking for the second part! It's fine that it's short, you gotta test the waters if it will do well on the market after all. 💔 Some combination of the notes is weird and unintuitive, got me stuck more than any puzzle. 💔 Not always clear what game wants you to do or what puzzle to solve. The more I played it the more it grew on me ♥

I enjoyed this game a lot. It’s fun, modern, and has a great sense of humour. The visual design and experience are well-crafted. I didn’t miss the story because of the puzzles—they have just the right level of challenge to keep you thinking and moving forward. They require visual memory and help create meaningful connections.

It's a decent point and clicker. Nicely drawn art, good voice-overs. Music nothing special but not bad. Story is not very engaging or emotional, but has a few nice spots. Overall story and ending was quite meh. Could have built on the family relations a bit more. Still, it is not too long a game to get overly boring, and provides a bit of point and click fun if you like that kind of stuff. Recommend to take a walkthrough next to it, helps get past the more frustrating puzzles that these games always come with. A bit of trial and error, then the walkthrough.. Remember to double-click to reach certain exits faster. Helps with the frustration of slow walking often. Seems to be on a good sale often, perhaps get it on one of those. If looking for a relatively short, ok, but not great, point and clicker. Recommendation is a bit in between but there is no such choice..
