It feels great to play, and the soundtrack is phenomenal. It's easy to pick up, but can be hard to master. For example, to grind for all the achievements (Build Different especially) is somewhat time consuming. You'll be able to unlock achievements during your progress (i.e. Headclicker). If you have the money, or if you see CRUEL on sale, I highly recommend buying it! It's worth your money, and your time!
Simple. Brutal. Cruel. This game does not hold your hand, it does not give you room to breathe if you take your time. The building is on fire, and you need to keep moving to avoid the inferno. This Roguelike is unique in that the perks are taken between levels, but only if you can pay for it with soda from the endless hallways of each floor. Rerolling the perks costs a soda as well. The Merchant? A small, white, Pomeranian. Who can't get enough of the stuff. If you're feeling lucky, visit Erik. He might be inclined to share his soda, or take one of your perks for himself. Maybe even a bit of your life if he's not in a good mood. Depending on the mode you pick, you will start with a revolver or an Axe. As you progress you'll unlock more, but if you kick the bucket? It's all gone, do it all again. Cruelty is a firm-handed teacher in this world, and I'm a glutton for it. I highly recommend this game if you're looking for something to kill time, or if you want to kill something else. The game asks you to put a name in, (Seed generation) and a mysterious voice grants you access to the hallways. So go on, Killer. Pick up that revolver and fulfill your deepest desire.
