It's a good game! You roll around, hop, and swing - sometimes (or optionally) at incredible speeds. If you're into speedrunning, there's plenty potential and per-level leaderboards. It might not seem like a big movement set, but the game gets a lot of mileage out of it with a wide variety of levels and optional side locations that try something entirely different. There's even a grand finale, and then a little encore. On the downsides, it can be hard to tell what your hook will attach to when you press the button - sometimes the object is off-screen and the guide dot doesn't seem to show on flat surfaces, only branch-like objects. You get hang of it after a while, but it would be nice to have an option to draw a dotted line towards where you might hook to.

This game is now one of my favourite games. It's a masterpiece. I had high expectations but it blew my mind anyway. HOWEVER... It recommends using controller and I took it personally, as a keyboard platformer. Jokes aside, I will be recommending this game to everyone I know for the rest of my life.

Fast physicky platformer with a punchy grapple that's good for reaching high velocity and recovering from mistakes. Great soundtrack, short game, generous checkpoints, movement is smooth as glass. Level 1 your struggling to aim your grappling parabola over a small gap, by level 25 your Spiderman on adderall doing quadratic equations while travelling at the speed of light. Looking forward to Crumble 2: The Way Of The Blob.

Ah man, why do games exist that only have the option to invert the camera on one axis? Thats the most annoying stuff, but luckily steam lets you change that in big picture mode. It really should be possible through the game though. Crashed after finishing the first world for some reason, but never again. The game itself is pretty simple, but that doesn't mean its easily mastered. I think I've struggled with how to swing for like half the game before kind of getting the hang of it. It definitely gets a lot easier once you figure everything out, which makes this kinda weird, as I felt more and more safe the further I got, even though the levels get harder and longer. I could definitely spend much more time in it, since I've only played through the levels once, without going for the star times or any collectibles, but I wouldn't have much fun doing so. Playing through it once though was kinda fun, but isn't worth the full price imo. Still I like the concept of it and if it were a little less janky I'd probably enjoy it more. Sometimes the tongueswing just does whatever it wants or regrabs in weird places, once I was stick inside the walls until it spat me out somewhere randomly. So if you don't mind the jankiness of it, there is probably a lot of fun to be had and MUCH skill to be earned. I personally don't want to bother getting better at it though, so it'll just be my 2 hours with it.
