Amazing arcade bullet hell with survivors-like level-up upgrades but without any meta progression. The gameplay is super simple: you just move your mouse to defeat waves of enemies while avoiding their attacks, and after each wave you choose one out of three random weapon upgrades and also passives every 4 waves or so. But it's so engaging, so fluid, so difficult and yet fair, that it kept me at the edge of my seat until I got all the achievements. It deserves high praise and I recommend it very much. Just in case I decide to return to it after a pause, here's a build I used to get to wave 57: Since after wave 40 I found it impossible to go without getting hit, I decided to give up glass blade (too stressful) and go with one of the regular blades, so I used aqua blade because I found the ability to be quite useful. For passives I went with full survival kit, so the shield, improved hp, improved healing and higher heart chance, all extremely useful. The rest is up to personal preference and rng, I took slower enemy projectiles, delay before enemies attack, increased damage in the beginning, higher damage with less hp, enemies getting hit when I get hit, and enemies having less health (but I guess going with more damage and longer invunerability after getting hit is a nice combo too if you get the timing right). For weapons, I went with full on-hit damage set, most importantly chance to deal triple damage (first one to max as soon as possible after I have all weapons at least lvl 1), and on top of that chance to attach bomb, chance to use saw, chance to drop stars, chance to burn and chance to shock (but missiles, shurikens or laser would most likely also work). I decided to skip passive weapons (cactus and poison cloud) due to low damage output, skip freeze and fire trail because they are too situational, and skip ghosts and spikes (these are good but I wanted to deal consistent damage no matter if I kill the enemy or not). My strategy was to float like a butterfly and sting like a bee, to quote the classic: first seconds wreak havok, then immediately retreat to the side and avoid first wave of projectiles, then keep dancing between bullets and chipping off enemies that are closest to me focusing on ranged ones if possible, watching out for ninjas teleporting behind me, and occasionally moving around if top/bottom was clear enough.

Nice little game. Very short compared to other horde survival games. It's more like an endless arcade high score chase style game. Some good ideas, but it feels not complete. There is only one boss, only one map, only a handful of enemies (less than 10). Took me less than 2 hours to complete. Very recommended if you like a short mindless pause from whatever you're currently doing. If you like this you may also like Neophyte (horde survival), Windowkill (horde survival) Ball-It Hell (arcade arena) and Soundodger+ (mouse cursor avoid 'em up).
