I bought Dawson Oaks Trailer Park thinking I was getting a social deduction game. I was wrong. I apparently bought a behavioral study game to determine how quickly 12 grown men can destroy a trailer park while screaming into proximity chat. The first game I joined, I got Creep. My objective was basically to do Creep ♥♥♥♥ without the Supervisor catching me. So naturally I spent the entire round wandering around named Bobbie Cletus, following people into their trailers and pretending I wasn't doing anything suspicious. The Supervisor walks past. I freeze. He asks, “What are you doing?” I say, “Laundry.” I was standing in a bathtub. HE BELIEVED ME. Next round I'm the Drug Dealer, and suddenly I'm running around Dawson Oaks trying to conduct a pharmaceutical empire while some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ named Jethro “Percy” Pisswater keeps following me asking if I have anything “for the nerves.” Then I get Gambler. Apparently my sanity depends on me gambling, so naturally I start throwing money away at the saloon like a man who has never experienced consequences. “ONE MORE SPIN.” Thirty seconds later I'm broke, emotionally ruined, and accusing the Snitch of rigging the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ machines. Then there's Hobo. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Whoever designed this role looked at normal social deduction mechanics and said: “What if instead of investigating people, you just became an absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ menace?” I'm wandering around the park doing Hobo ♥♥♥♥ while three other players are yelling over proximity chat. Someone is committing crimes in a trailer. Someone else is trying to find the Snitch. The Supervisor is patrolling the park. And some guy named Cletus “Diesel” ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is standing outside the Community Center screaming: “WHO THE ♥♥♥♥ STOLE MY MICROWAVE?” Meanwhile I'm trying to maintain my sanity. This game creates the funniest possible situation because everyone has a reason to act suspicious. You see someone sprinting into a trailer? Could be a criminal. Could be the Snitch. Could be the Supervisor. Could just be Randy Joe “Tater” McGraw looking for his ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bathtub. And because it's proximity voice chat, every interaction turns into evidence. You hear: “Where were you?” “Trailer 6.” “Doing what?” “Nothing.” “Why were you in the bathtub?” “WHY ARE YOU ASKING SO MANY QUESTIONS?” MEETING CALLED. Now everyone is standing around the Community Center accusing each other like twelve idiots who have collectively forgotten what the objective of the game is. The best part is watching somebody desperately try to act normal while their role-specific urge is practically screaming at them. You can physically see the panic. They're trying to blend in. Their sanity is evaporating. The Supervisor is nearby. The Snitch is listening. And they're standing there like: “Guys, I swear I'm not doing anything.” immediately commits the exact crime everyone was looking for 10/10.

This game is hilarious. I joined a full lobby of Germans. A lot of them didn't speak English but understood enough. They asked me to please not say the "n" word before we started. I said "no problem" We start and I got Supervisor. One of my snitches didn't speak any english, but my other one did. I used psychology during their meetings and started calling the names of those i had no idea what role they had and asked if "they got my text messages", "great job", "report to me after the meeting" which i thought was ridiculous but it worked and got them eliminated. I protected my snitches, didn't understand a single word anyone was saying, ever, and we won the round. 10/10 will play with the Germans again.
