A game that can really grab your attention and keep you engaged. The Hard Life mod really takes the game up a notch, and if you can get past some of the silly technical, pathing issues, and instability, this game is really worth your time, You will be dealing with issues throughout your playthrough, but with some savviness, you should have no problem. Just make sure you hard save regularly, because you can accidently cause corrupted saves, and you want to have fallback saves just in case, as quick saving can be convenient, but in some circumstances can cause loading these saves to crash. All of the intro aside, this game drops you straight into the fictional country of Algeira. with minimal help and the game can be extremely difficult, and slow to get rolling, as your character will most likely be pretty weak, and struggle to take on multiple enemies. The controls take some time to get the hang of, but the real time combat with pauses works incredibly well here, and makes for (in my opinion) a more enjoyable and flexible combat system than a game like Jagged Alliance 2. The game initially puts you in a pretty long tutorial part of the game, but once the first few quests are finished, and you are able to get your permit for traveling down south, that's when the game opens up. Much like Morrowind, no NPC is safe, and every single NPC can die, and the subsequent consequences that come along with that, unable to finish quests, loss of a merchant, etc. As you progress, and win more combat encounters, you start to unlock the option to buy better gear at the merchants, and with better gear, comes a more lethal character. Being a fairly unknown Eastern European game, you won't be able to find much documentation or guides to help you along with your playthrough, and at times the translation of the game, can make the instructions unclear, NPCs might be hard to find, and you might find yourself stuck from time to time. But this game is incredibly fun, and engaging and I highly recommend it.

Sweet game. A Jagged Alliance with smaller production values, more bugs and jank. But it also has a ton of weapons, cool battles and it's fun, so there's that.

One of the unique(true real time tactical rpg like JA but in real time) and amazing games that never really gained traction in Western audiences, mostly due to being buggy when released. True successor to E5: Brigade. Now there seems to be some beta updates coming to it. Really recommend trying it out.

Russian version of Jagged Alliance Back In Action but with detailed gun mechanics and calibers. one of the hidden gems, but way too hidden since there is not much information on this game, as I have to rely on the Russian community to beat some of the missions. Still a good experience for those who love JA:BIA or Commandos nonetheless.
