A good game that is old school. The first game was made in the 90s and it looked like GTA but it was so much fun. Racing, shooting, intense. The remake for 2010s is good as well. I recommend it especially if you played the original in the 90s.

I really don’t care what anyone says about this game. I genuinely enjoy it and I have the weirdest nostalgia for it. I did play the mobile app 12 years ago.

The classic is back! The only horrible things about it: no extensive multiplayer (both local/online), no console release...

I played the Death Rally game that was made in the 90s from Steam that I got for free and finished it. I wanted more and decided to wait for a steam sale to come to get this game. Got it for less than 3 euro. So you start off as a guy in the road trying to escape from the police then gets captured and is forced to do this death rally racing game. You start off with a slow car making your way to faster cars. You get a gun that fires until it locks on to an enemy. Shame it doesn't just shoot when you want it to. When you do certain things you can get money to upgrade your car and weapons you get in the game by finding parts. Everytime you get a new part for a car, map, and gun you have to get more parts that can take long to get. You go through different tracks that are from the previous game and new ones that are new to the game. Everytime you have money left you use it on fame. Can't save it which is a shame. The highest amount of money I got from a race is near the 9,000 range. When you start a race you get pick ups like repair pick ups for your car, ammo, and cash. There are 3 laps you do for each race. Some have you do 1 to 5 laps depending on the one your doing. Some races I did annoyed me either because I was underpowered or had to deal with cars that were faster than me. You can choose races ranging from easy to extreme. Depending on the one your doing from easy to extreme you get money. You get achievements in the game which isn't that useful to get unless you want to do something to keep you occupied. There are challenges where you have to use a certain weapon, car, and waht not. For upgrades you can get for armor, speed, and handling. The bosses on these stages have a lot of health and can take a lot of time to take down. There is multiplayer but I didn't have a chance to find any game online so don't bother unless you have friends you want to play with in this game. For weapons you can get ranging from shotgun to missles. For 3 things you can get that are permanent on your car. They are Laser sight, mines, and bumper spikes. There is a story in this game. The last story mission was hard so I just kept upgrading until I was ready to beat him. I did beat him but took multiple tries to beat him then got the ending. Also the game was done by Remedy entertainment of Max Payne and Alan Wake fame. Can't wait for the Max Payne 1 and 2 Remake. I give this game a 7 out of 10. Just wait until the games on sale to get it since you can beat it pretty quickly. Thanks for reading my review and I hope you have a good day.
