This game is so peak, I'm writing my review while it's on. Real talk. It is a good game, fun to have in the background for fun, and the minimum requirement is basically ignorable. Whether you're putting it on while doing work, or you're playing another game, it's fun. I have ADHD and this gives me a tiny little thing to look at, sometimes it's fun to just focus on it. It also solves all the issues I personally have with tower defense games, and that's that they're boring as hell especially when they're meant to be the full focus. But, this doesn't ask for your full attention, maybe a couple clicks which are optional if you wanna change sizes or just upgrade your triangle. And the minimum requirement is literally 1 gb of ram, which, IN THIS ECONOMY???? Nah, but it's good for what it is, if you're looking for anything more than something to have in the background or that you want to put all your attention into, this isn't what you're looking for. But, if you're looking for a fun thing to have in the background to help with the the world's dwindling attention span that has the collective power of a goldfish with Alzheimer's, this is for you. Enjoy. TL;DR: Cheap, fun to play in background, doesn't tank performance at all
I have been hooked on bottom of screen games since Rusty's Retirement.I love these little games. I have the whole bottom of screen collection and I hope that steam makes a filter so that I can specifically find more of them. One day I hope there is a Factorio styled one, but until then, I plan to keep buying and playing all of them. TLDR: Good game, I love tower defense games. Alright: After 60 hours my thoughts. It gets a 9/10 in my books. I spent a few nights where I should have been asleep 2 hours earlier for work but I was staying up trying to get the perfect ascension. (worth it) I still have issues where I have to have the game not running while playing Battlefield, bummer but oh well. I did Rebirth, and with it I have been wanting to play it less now, I feel like I saw everything, not sure if I have but I personally feel like something new come after rebirth, be it a new stat like crit or ability to regen or a new simple system like being able to evolve any of the weapons. For now I am still playing, but I am definitely less conflicted about closing the game if it is required for a game. Great game to stare at when I should be doing other things.
