In recent months, I started playing new games that were released, but I quickly got bored, closed and didn't return. At some point, I thought that maybe I was tired of games... But then I decided to play Dispatch and realized that I wasn't tired, it was just that those games were really bad and boring. I didn't expect much from Dispatch, but... What do we have here? Interesting and charismatic characters. The story is simple, but it hooks you with its simplicity. Everything together — the characters, the gameplay, and the dialogue — works amazingly well. I definitely recommend it. UPD: the first part of the review was written before the release of the final episodes. After episodes (final) 7 and 8, the game is still absolutely worth its ratings, money and time! For those who want to replay moments/episodes, there is a save slot button in the episode selection menu, or you can press the S button. If, for example, you select one of the moments from the first episodes in your current playthrough, the rest of the episodes will become unavailable and you will have to play again.
Came for the cast. Stayed for the characters. I have never really been a big fan of interactive story games, but Dispatch had me counting the days til the next episodes dropped. Great job, AdHoc. I sincerely hope you keep building upon this success and I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for a season 2. P.S. Told you I could fix her.
I’ll be honest.. I wasn’t expecting much when i started Dispatch. I’m not even really into superhero stories, but this game completely changed that for me. What i thought would be a simple little adventure turned out to be an absolute gem! This game grabbed me by the heart, made me laugh until I cried and then actually made me cry for real ahaha. I didn’t expect that kind of emotional whiplash, but wow.. i loved every second of it. The story is packed with humor, warmth and those quiet little moments that sneak up on you. One minute you’re grinning at the ridiculousness of it all.. the perfectly timed jokes, the weirdly charming interactions, the moments that feel like pure chaos and the next you’re just sitting there, feeling everything.. There were scenes that genuinely hit me in the chest.. small, beautiful moments where the characters open up, where the silliness melts away and you see their hearts. It’s that perfect mix of funny and fragile, like the game itself knows when to crack a joke and when to make you stop and feel something real. And honestly? I didn’t think i’d get this attached. The characters are so full of personality that even their most absurd choices made me care about them more. It’s not often a game makes me laugh out loud and tear up within the same hour, but Dispatch pulled it off effortlessly. I finished it with a huge smile, a little bit of heartbreak and that warm, lingering feeling you only get from something truly special.. I never thought i’d enjoy it this much, but Dispatch turned out to be one of those rare games that sticks with you long after you’re done. I laughed, i cried, i loved every second and i’m already ready to do it all over again 🖤
