I have really mixed feelings about this one... It is so clunky, but the quality of writing is so superb, that it overcomes the downsides easily. Recommended for sure.

Please make sure to install the Div2Patch from BlanknameES on Github, it addresses many of the games technical issues on modern systems (framerate, crashes, resolutions, keybindings, bugfixes, ...). I played through the game with the included DLC in about 40 hours and overall it was a enjoyable experience, there's quite a lot of weird things going on in a playthrough, due to it's age and financially constrained development cycle. But if you enjoy to revisit older games, and deal with their shenanigans, then this might be something for you. I would really love if they would build a worthy successor based on this amazing concept with their modern tech and creative freedoms <3

I beat this game 4 times on the xbox 360 and years later came back to do it again. Get Div2patcher though, it'll completely remove stutter from having more than 30fps, and it'll make the game smooth as butter.

Great RPG from Larian, great writing, good gameplay, exploring is rewarded, engaging sidequests and story. I wish they'd come back to 3rd person games because this is just underrated. Highly recommended PS: If the game runs poorly you can get a mod that fixes 99.99% of the issues.
