A really solid one-and-done game that you can complete in 1 hour (or in my case, 2, because I streamed it!) Honestly one of the better indie horror games I've played this year. The gameplay loop is very simple, but the true horror comes from how the story develops. There's surprisingly insightful messages in the narrative that get you thinking . Refreshingly, it also seems to be devoid of AI-generated assets which is nice?
Good game, scarier than I expected. The gameplay is kinda repetitive, but it feels like a part of the narrative and the game is short enough that it doesn't become too much of a bother. Try it, and if you didn't like it then just get a refund, since there's no way this could possibly take 2 whole hours to complete
This game is a double-edged blade. On one hand, the soundtrack and writing are absolutely brilliant. But on the other, the gameplay is very minimalist, and the story is too short. Still, the game is a steal for the price it's being sold at. 8/10, would recommend. I hope that new endings are added.
I still haven't finished this game but I am enjoying it for now. The reason I'm posting this review though is that the game doesn't have an fps cap, so my laptop is running it at 450+ fps and it is overheating for a bunch of extra frames that I don't need. It would be good if there was an fps cap setting in the settings.
