Cute, fun, relaxing, but has a healthy dose of challenge and strategy. You simply can never get bored! Allot of people mention bugs but I don't really seem to experience them myself. Guess they ironed them out! I highly suggest giving this game a try if it's your cup of tea. :) FINAL EDIT: I have encountered the bugs now & completed the game altogether. Specifically very important items went missing upon death: my hat and all of my cash. Game has SO MUCH potential to be widely popular, but i suspect this is why it died down. Would I recommend, still yes. But at your own risk.

I really love this little game, it was charming from the start. As a big survival/crafter lover, the crafting side of the game was great tied in with the relationship building aspect! The characters are silly and I love the movement style, it makes the game more lighthearted and funny. There ARE bugs yes, but I hadn't found any game breaking ones. The devs do seem to be updating and trying to fix the bugs regularly too. The multiplayer is definitely more buggy than the single player but it's a cute and funny thing to play with friends if you can get passed that! The story was silly and engaging and overall a really enjoyable game! :)

Great gameplay and funny writing, but there are too many glitches and bugs to list. Bought on special so not too bad. Edit: Looks like they've made some changes and turned it around! All the negative reviews say the same thing: great potential but too many bugs. Great that they are working on them!!

I will recommend this game- but with a caveat- if you are someone that DEMANDS game to have absolutely 0 bugs without blowing up into oblivion-- then please just play a different game and save this lovely developer the bad review. IF you however- want a cute game that can be cozy-esque while also having a bit of fun, adventure, and exploration- WITH CRAFTING!!! then get this silly yet wonderous adventure of a game! I am a cozy game player by trade- but I do dabble in the dark arts sometimes (games with bows and arrows and pew pews) and when i say sometimes- i mean like once or twice a year. This game has a solid place in my heart. I love building the ranch. I love exploring and finding all kinds of nonsense to see what I can do with it. I do not like dying. In fact I panic everytime I lose ANY HEALTH. But this game is such a gem that I deal with it. I had an issue where I thought I encountered a bug. I emailed the developer, not rly expecting a response. I got a heartfelt email back where they said they even tested the area in question for me (what!) and they came back with several solutions. Turns out. They were correct. I simply did not search up high enough for my missing backpack. But the email sealed the deal. There are people that are involved with this game that LOVE what they do. I can't wait to put more hours in! Such a great game- hats off.

I've been really enjoying the game so far. When I started it, I expected it to be very similar to other farming games (Stardew, Sun Haven, etc.), but placed in a new setting. However, it has a much higher focus on questing, exploring, and base building (not necessarily your base). The farming aspects are more of a "yeah... you can do this as well..." kinda thing. A lot of it feels very tedious. Planting, watering, and harvesting takes an annoyingly long time, which made me contemplate just dropping the farming aspects all together multiple times. And I would have if it wasn't a decent way of getting cash to buy more recipes/blueprints. Pros: - Very pretty/cute graphics. - Relaxed difficulty with some fun combat here and there. - Good base building. - Good crafting system. - Many likeable NPCs with good dialogue. - A lot more content than I initially thought. - At no point did I feel like exploring a place felt pointless. - Devs seem committed to improving it even further. - Some very creative mechanics you don't see everywhere (e.g. lassos to swing, drag stuff, etc). - 1-button "sort items from inventory into local chests", which... I wish more games would have. It's SO nice! (similar to the one in Terraria). - Low stakes when it comes to dying. You basically just lose the time it takes to get back to where you died. Cons: - Some minor bugs in the geometry of the map. Very minor annoyance sometime. - Everything about farming takes unnecessarily long. It'd be much better if times were just 1/10 or at least 1/5s of what it is atm. - Traveling (even with fast travel) takes too long once you reach the "endgame". I wish there were solid upgrades to making it faster. It feels really bad to get somewhere just to notice "Oh... I forgot to bring this one material to build whatever I needed for the quest. - You can't rotate the camera whenever you want. Only in certain moments (e.g. with open building menu). - NPCs only buy items related to their job --> Selling items is a hassle unless you focus on 1-2 things (e.g. crops, metal ores/bars). Overall I think the game is easily worth the full price. Getting it at a discount doubly so. If you're looking for a cozy game that's less about farming and more about completing quests, exploring places (with easy but fun combat), and building little houses/villages it's definitely a good time!
