This is the game I've spent the most time playing so far. I will never forget the feeling of launching the game for the first time and seeing those evergreen trees swaying in the wind, even though they were just textures and animations. Most of the time, I just run around on the map, chopping trees, mining, collecting resources, and planning my survival schedule. For me, this is the most interesting part of the whole game, even more so than fighting bosses. I think it and DST are two separate games. The most reason I don't play DST is that I don't want to approach it with the mindset I've developed for playing Don't Starve. Although the DST has more content, it's too overwhelming for solo play. I feel like I'm seeing the game's logic exposed through a crack in the veil, so it suddenly becomes less interesting. Anyway, Don't Starve is a great game, and it's a shame that it's not getting any more content, but good things always come with a touch of regret, don't they?
