contrary to the title of the game, much of the janky platforming and obtuse level design obstructs the flow of movement and makes you frequently stop (girlypop). however, it does feature a dinosaur cowboy tamagotchi who has a thick southern accent, and he made me giggle a lot. so yeah this game is actually pretty awesome.

this game is tuff as hell. i am so overstimulated that the world around me slows to a crawl. i know where i am slaying 💅 only because i know where i am not. i feel ethereally effeminate as i slay my enemies and my own framerate with shotgun-orbital-railgun nuking combos. when you're happy, you enjoy the music—but when you're girlypop, you understand the lyrics.

FINALLY! A game for us STRAIGHT, ALPHA MALES. This game is great because it doesn't have any of that WOKE PROPAGANDA nor is there any FLAGRANT HOMOEROTICISM, unlike the similar games in this genre! Because of this, I cannot recommend this game more! Actual Review Cons: -The voice acting is alright, but could use a couple more takes for clarity. There were moments I didn't understand what was being said. -The movement is great when it comes to horizontal movement. Vertical movement could use some work. There were times when I would grapple to a floating sphere and Imber just wouldn't make it or something blocked me that I should've been able to go around. -I love the customization, but I wish I could rotate my arms or guns more freely rather than them being locked to a specific axis. -Sometimes, it's hard to find enemies and they like to get stuck in some places. I wish the enemy tracker was a bit more obvious as to where an enemy is hiding. Pros: -LOVE THE MUSIC. It's AMAZING! Ayesha Erotica would've SLAYED if she were here, but that could be asking too much. -Level designs and aesthetics are great! Can't wait to see more levels. -The story is fun so far. -Love finding secrets and seeing what they do. -Love all the cool things you can do with the guns and their synergies with each other. -Gianni Matragrano! My favorite voice actor! He's incredibly talented and nails just about every role he gets! Overall, I think it's a very solid game that could use a tweak here and there. Yes, I genuinely enjoy this game and recommend it to anyone that wants to try a different flavor of shooter! DON'T STOP, GIRLYPOP! <3 XD

at last - ultrakill for straight men jokes aside, this game is a banger. the combat flows really REALLY nicely, and you find yourself cycling through all of your weapons - which each have their own utility and best use cases - all while performing some really fun and satisfying movement tech, which you're incentivized to do because the faster you go, the more damage you deal. all the while, your ears are being blessed with the most banger OST of 2026. the aesthetic is just the cherry on top, silly and fun the whole way down. you can tell that there was just a lot of love and care that went into cooking up this gem.
