So far, the game is really fun. The game kind of feels like Sea of Thieves, where you sail around and go to islands, but on a crab instead of a boat. While I really like it there are some problems I have with it. The size of the world doesn’t seem made for the crab. It feels like every 5 steps I am going around a rock tower or other type of environment. There is not much to really do with the crab other it walks to the destination. I feel like they should of made the world bigger so it feels like the crab isn’t oversized or scrap the crab entirely and focus more on beetle riding. While I love the design and feel of the crab, it feels half-baked. Another thing is the world feels static. Once you defeat a giant crab or destroy an enemy base, it seems to be destroyed forever. I feel like a lot of open world type games fall into this trap. I think this game would benefit a lot from having enemies invade and take back islands and outposts. And it could be that the longer you wait to take back the outpost the harder and more prepared the enemy would be. Other than that though, I am having a blast. The game feels half-baked here and there, but still highly recommend it.

There are many flaws. A tad overpriced, a bit light on content, boss fights are rather rudimentary, movements are a wee janky, balance and progression are under-designed, some mechanics are downright vestigial and don't capitalize on their great potential (bug mounts are great but you'll barely get to use them outside of their designated quests)... But I still begrudgingly recommend it. Its art style is distinct and pleasant to behold, its music does a reasonably fine job at complementing the visuals, the overall atmosphere is comfy and immersive, the baseline gameplay is sufficiently fun, the quests and underground puzzles are pretty solid (baring an occasional scavenger hunt being excessively generous with hints), it's been a nice experience overall. It's a wee gem. Very rough, and maybe the pawn shop's owner is trying to swindle you just a tiny bit, but it still has a lovely shine to it. In addition to that the last thing I wanna mention (without spoiling anything) is the main antagonist who, although a goofball and not particularly complex much like everyone else in the game, seems to have a rather compelling motivation for his actions. In some parallel universe and with a bit of extra worldbuilding I could even see him as an equally compelling facet of the conflict to your own. Maybe even someone to side with.

Lots of reviews saying this game is buggy, I have personally only experienced issues with one quest, and getting stuck in a few spots. However there is a built-in respawn button when you get stuck, and the developer is quickly patching bugs and making fixes. This game is great fun with friends, I play with a group of 3 of us and its fun finding new talismans and armors to give each of us a role in our group. You can't say that launching yourself out of a cannon, that is on top of a crab isn't fun. TLDR; People are quick to whine about the most miniscule bugs but this game is tons of fun with friends and has more depth than at first glance.

Game is good, i play it with a friend and it's fun. If i had to choose a weakness, it would be that to me, there is not enough progression, going trough the game it didn't feel like my character became really stronger and were able to beat more difficult enemies. The hard difficulty is not very challenging too. But i liked the game anyway hence why i recommended. Irrelevant for most people but for moders, the game is made on unity, so i wanted to see if i could make a mod but it's compiled with IL2CPP, so it will be a pain if that's something that interest you too. (Because the intermediate code is translated to cpp and then to machine code, which doesn't leave Assembly-CSharp.dll with readable code and Transpilers won't work, unlike with Mono)

Neat and short Coop experience. I don't recommend you play it solo, as a live player is much better than a cpu helping you. The side quests aren't bad, some can be frustrating but the treasure hunt for instrument quests are OP and should be highly prioritized. The Ocarina especially as it increases the speed of you crab by A LOT when you play it. I played with randoms joining, and me and one random in particular buddied up for most of the game. I beat it on medium, wasn't difficult at all and if you are looking for any punishment at all in fights I suggest you play it on hard. There is a lot of freedom of movement in the world, and sometimes you might get bugged or stuck in places, although we found using the mounts to pull players out as a workaround was successful in fixing it. I don't see myself coming back to this, but if you want a short coop experience with a friend or a group this is a good 6 to 8 hour game. I played it from start to finish in the first day, and I don't regret it. I loved a lot of the choices made, like being able to shoot yourself out of cannons to basically go wherever you want. It's a good coop game, just short enough to not make me sick of the gameplay loop of traveling across the desert or seas.
