The Far Cry series isn't one I'm particularly attached to. This means I'm neither a fan nor a hater of the series, as I'm rather neutral on that front. I've played previous games in the series in the past. I honestly don't think the series is bad or good, but in the case of Far Cry 6, I have to say I had a particularly good time thanks to the atmosphere it created, which I really enjoyed. The game doesn't have a very complex story or combat system; it follows a certain standard taught in the series, so I'd rate that a plus. The game isn't particularly long, but I think it was sufficient. The weapons and vehicles are very well-designed in this part, and they have a good atmosphere. Regarding stability and issues, I haven't noticed any, and the game itself runs well and flows smoothly. Overall, I can recommend the game to anyone because it's really good.

The weakest Far Cry out of the main FC games. It's not bad but clearly they are losing originality/creativity. They should really focus on the idea of different timelines like Primal. Imagine Far Cry but in the scenario of Mafia, or WW2 (like sabatour), Roman empire, etc.

Far Cry 6 is not the best game in the franchise, but I had a lot of fun playing this game. The world reminds me of the Just Cause series, a series I love (except for JC4). Gunplay is satisfying, the world is big and beautiful and it is the longest Far Cry out there. However, some gameplay mechanics have been simplified or made worse than the last games. The story and characters are okay at best. The best side character sadly dies too early. Overall, I think it is an okay game that can offer a lot of fun, so I do recommend it to fans of the series or to open-world gamers. You should by the way download the Clean View mod from Nexus, it makes the image a lot better and sharper.

Its a good game but I do have my gripes about it. +Beautiful environment and graphics +Fun gameplay +Massive map +/- I did run into a couple bugs. Nothing insane but it was a little annoying. Not like theyre everywhere though. -Microtransactions/cosmetics in a full priced game?? Thats wild -Hides collectible maps behind extra paid maps in the store?? -Looting is a thing of the past, soldiers dont even drop guns -No skill tree, just upgrading weapons with generic materials you find. -The weapon customization feels shallow. Its the same for all guns in each class and even then its mostly the same between classes -Story wasnt horrible but everything felt shallow including the characters. The main character especially. -Small gripe but as someone who goes for them, the achievements are dumb. Theres one for sliding 200m which has to be done in a specific spot to even achieve but theres nothing for getting all the check points for example and half of them are hidden behind the DLC. Its not exactly a bad game and its worth a play but it just feels soulless. Buy it on a heavy sale.
