10/10. The game looks absolutely stunning and the car handling is the best it’s been in years. Plus, it runs flawlessly on my RTX 5070 (so it should on pretty expensive GPU), which is great because I need every single frame to see exactly how close Max Verstappen is to my rear wing. Seriously, if you don’t play as Max, be prepared for a horror game. He is everywhere. Every corner, every apex, every DRS zone.I check my mirrors and all I see is that Red Bull stare. I’m pretty sure if I paused the game and went to make a sandwich, he’d be waiting in my kitchen to divebomb the fridge. If you want a smooth, beautiful racing experience where you are perpetually hunted by a flying Dutchman who refuses to sleep, buy this game.
After six intense Grand Prix weekends in F1 25, I can confidently say this is the most realistic Formula 1 simulator Codemasters has ever released. I mean, forget the upgraded physics engine, improved tire models, or broadcast-style presentation – let’s talk about the real headline: Lance Stroll has managed to crash in every single race. Six out of six. Consistency is key in Formula 1, and this game absolutely nails it. In Bahrain, he clipped the wall in Sector 3 during a perfectly calm out-lap. In Jeddah, he drove straight into the back of a Haas under safety car. At Melbourne, he managed to take out himself and his teammate while weaving on the formation lap. I didn’t even know that was programmed into the game – that's how far they’ve pushed the envelope of realism this year. It’s like the devs captured the exact essence of every awkward, miscalculated divebomb, every oversteer correction that becomes an overcorrection, every inexplicable lock-up from real-world Stroll moments – and rendered them lovingly in 4K. But it’s not just the crashes. The detail is immaculate. After each DNF, Stroll appears in the post-race paddock interview looking confused, muttering something about “not seeing the car” or “having damage from Lap 1,” even when he clearly did it to himself on a straight. Chef’s kiss. I tried switching teams, turning off damage, tweaking AI behavior – didn’t matter. He found new and creative ways to bin it. Monaco? He crashed in the pit lane. Silverstone? He drove into the safety car. Spa? He spun under a yellow flag without touching the throttle. It’s gotten to the point where I no longer play to win the championship – I play to find out how Stroll will crash next. It’s like a mini-game within the game. A beautiful, tragic ballet of carbon fiber and bad judgment. And honestly? I love it. It adds a new layer of immersion. When I see a yellow flag on lap 1, I don’t even need the engineer to say it – I just mutter to myself, “That’s Stroll.” And 99% of the time, I’m right. So thank you, Codemasters, for crafting such an authentic experience. You didn’t just simulate Formula 1. You simulated the drama, the chaos, and most importantly – the Stroll moments we all love (or love to cringe at). Final Verdict: 10/10
