It’s not about driving; it’s about directing, and Frontier Developments has delivered another strong entry in this growing management sim franchise. You don’t take the wheel in F1® Manager 2023—instead, you manage every other aspect: scouting drivers, improving your facilities, developing car parts, planning strategies, and calling crucial shots during the race weekend. Races play out in real time with beautifully rendered cars and dynamic camera angles, but beneath the polish is a rich layer of tactical depth. You'll have to think about tire degradation, fuel loads, weather conditions, DRS opportunities, pit stop timing, and driver temperament. Every call you make can be the difference between a podium finish and a costly failure. The 2023 edition adds greater mid-race control, more realistic driver behavior, and improvements to pit strategies and AI logic. You can now micromanage pace and push levels more granularly, adding a level of tension that keeps you engaged from lights out to checkered flag. The visual presentation is excellent for a management sim. While you're not driving, the cars look and sound authentic, and the broadcast-style presentation makes watching the races surprisingly thrilling. The menus are sleek, though still a bit dense for newcomers. The voice acting and radio chatter, while repetitive at times, help build immersion, and the inclusion of all official teams, drivers, and tracks from the 2023 season gives the experience a level of authenticity F1 fans will appreciate. F1® Manager 2023 Yearly Entry will kill this series To summarise the game is very engaging as an F1 fan but is a little too easy as a MM/GPM veteran. AI errors are good and the safety car is a common site, mixed condition races are fantastic and you can plan undercuts. The whole UI is very good an contains a lot of information. I did have some crazy issues with hiring drivers where they were asking insane amounts or even with all things checked they still declined. It is an improvement over 2022, HOWEVER! Games like this should never have been released under the yearly edition feature as management games tend to have lifespans of years if not more. With a yearly release and minimal improvements each time Frontier is guaranteed to see diminishing returns. But some moronic shareholder who flys a desk for a living think this is a good method. At the time of writing this I can see Frontier have already thrown in the towel after 2024. So now we will have another giant void until another F1 manager is made if ever. Frontier did a great job with the graphics and general gameplay but overall the management and development sides were slightly lacklustre compared to the industry standard of MM/GPM. F1 Manager 2024 needs these features. [*]Ability to save car setups so you can load them again as a baseline next year [*]More reasons to use your reserves. Main drivers injured or ill for example. [*]Make the game harder [*]More things to do in practice. [*]A photo mode. Series already at risk? Series dead [Strike]With Frontiers very quick end of support for the title a lot of players understandably were upset. They have the license until 25 providing they meet certain financial criteria. With the negative press the EOS caused who knows what the future holds for this series now. Personally I hope it continues and is bettered or Sega let playsport regain support of MM or give us MM2 etc for the PC. We really need a good F1 manager title at home on the PC. SCREW MOBILE GAMING! Big upgrade to the original 2022 game but I still wouldn't play full price for it. It's fun and more manager-y but after one season or two it gets very boring very fast. There's a lack of drama and story which could add so much to the world building in your, essentially, fantasy season. Would be cool if there were more News articles or little Will Buxton cut scenes or TP interview sessions every few races just to add some variety to this otherwise very monotone game. The mods look good though so at least there's that. Cool community liveries and new teams including changing the team name in the standings, on Racedepartment (or Overtake as it's called now) Look for 60% sales, anything less isn't worth it

My F1 Manager 2023 was a tough and a challenging one, i started with Alfa Romeo a famous historic f1 racing team that is capable of winning races, winning podium, setting fastest laps scoring points and winning drivers and contructors championships through out f1 history, however my first season with alfa romeo caused fireworks and controversy moment, at the beginning of the first race in bahrain grand prix my team finished p14 it was an ok start, as the f1 race season goes by normally, i began to upgrade the f1 car and the parts in each f1 race calander to make the alfa romeo f1 car fast despite my best effort my alfa romeo f1 drivers began to crashed eachother out every race, it was so bad that the Alfa Romeo F1 Board began to hate me and lost confident in me as tension was at the highest peak, i was so angry at the Alfa Romeo F1 Board that i took matters into my own hands by getting vengence against Alfa Romeo also by overspending the 52 Million euros down to 8.256 million euros budget at by Alfa Romeo F1 Board Team by leaving Alfa Romeo into Financinal ruined, it was sweet Revenge.

Although somewhat repetitive, I still get the backstage feeling of having something to do or improve. A little disappointed with the amount of "mods" available (the non-cheat ones), but hey, F1 Manager 24 is out soon !! Just to add, the game at ULTRA settings still doesn't push my GFX card far enough to impress me. If you can point me to a better race management sim then it'd have to be bloody good LOL
