I remember getting to play this because my dad had points on the microsoft store you could redeem and I got this game. I spent many hours completing this and it is very nostalgic for me.

get it with the aeon mod. i love this game. i will die an old man and this will be the last thing i see. i have been playing it ever since i was a little boy on the xbox classic. i have played it from start to finish AT LEAST 80 times. about 8 times once in a single summer. this game will forever be in my heart.

Fable has honestly stood the test of time. Its a game that sits in our hearts and carries with us in life. It was truly a beautiful experience growing up from a small boy into a great Hero that would rule all of Albion. Amazingly atmospheric. Quirky characters and quest lines that you will remember for the rest of your life. The ability to choose your path not only in combat style but in moral play style changed who you were as a person in real life. Kids who would never dare break a rule at home where now able to plunder entire towns and have the citizens begging at their feet. Or you could sacrifice, your power, your freedoms your treasures and experience wealth of joy and love from the characters around you. This game teaches you so much about life. Sometimes you have to make hard choices. Sometimes you have to sacrifice things to get what you truly want in life. How far are you willing to go to achieve greatness? Its not a very long game. Only about 48 hours if you have an idea of what you are doing, but that has not stopped people from playing it for the last 20 years. The replay ability is endless. Every playthrough offers the opportunity for a new journey into a Heros life. Lost Chapters is the original Fable experience. The graphics have become pure classical art. The sound design has a tape deck analog effect you can hear. It has aged like fine cheese and offers more value as time goes on. This version holds up performance wise. If you are here seeking to re live the glory days of an old adventurer such as my self, just know you are not alone. This was one of my favourite games as a child, although some of its aspects certainly don't hold up today it has a charm that's undeniable. It was the first game I played with romance options, and a moral system that incentivized another playthrough. It was great to experience again as an adult, I just wish steam had Fable 2 since it was a great sequel that improved every aspect.
