This honestly might be one of the greatest horror games of all time. Like genuinely. There are very few (non vr) games that have actually scared me, and not even the vr games gave me nightmares like FAITH did. Not only is this game terrifying, but the story of it just adds onto it. I've seen events that happened outside of the actual game in my nightmares (I might need therapy...). I have never seen a game like FAITH in my entire life. People have made 8-bit retro style games before, but none of them nail it like FAITH does. Not only that, FAITH has cutscenes, all of which are rotoscoped to make them feel lifelike, while also keeping the same art style as the rest of the game. I really wish there was more of this game to play, or maybe even another Airdorf title on Steam. That man is truly talented at his craft. 100/10. Would absolutely recommend to anyone who likes horror games, retro games, or both.

The story sucks… you in! And then it takes you on a wild ride through ocult nightmares and religious horror. If you can stomach the slow gameplay and pixelated graphics, this game is absolutely worth it. If you love deep and unsettling horror narration, this is a must-buy. Much of the story is told through text and retro video, which adds to the eerie atmosphere. I had to watch a YouTube series about the lore and events to fully understand everything—but it was so worth it! I never thought a game with such simple graphics could be this scary, but it truly is terrifying at times. The soundtrack and audio design are also incredible, enhancing the overall experience. Totally recommend it!

Terrifying, you'd think 8-bits wouldn't be terrifying, but you'd be wrong. Absolutely flawless story telling, the fact that people haven't played this yet is offensive to me.
