A short but tension-filled ride with some truly scary moments. The story was a bit predictable, the voice acting wasn't great, and some animations were a bit goofy, but overall it was still an enjoyable experience (I'm happy to look past some of that for small dev teams like this). I really liked the attention to detail in the house, and how things changed over time - photos that distorted as you progressed through the story, for example. I'd suggest waiting for a sale though because it only took about three hours to finish. Update: okay NG+ is a lot scarier and also a little buggy.
Highly Recommended If you miss the terrifying, reality-shifting dread of P.T., Infliction: Extended Cut is a must-play. The Vibe: Thick atmosphere and psychological dread over cheap jumpscares. The Gameplay: A tense cat-and-mouse game where you hide from a roaming spirit and use a Fatal Frame-style camera to stun her. The Content: The Extended Cut adds a brutal New Game Plus with remixed puzzles and an alternate ending. It runs flawlessly on PC and is a staggering achievement for a solo developer. Put your headphones on and buy it. 10/10 — I spent 45 minutes crying under a digital bed while a ghost aggressively paced outside. Would get traumatized again.
so far im loving it ive never played many horrors but this got my attention and im loving it ive jumped a few times already not yet completed it and its anxiety inducing i know this as i suffer with it and it has a very tense atmosphere this game i do highly recommend to people who love horror games this will do the trick of creeping you out so yep if your thinking about getting it please do it and enjoy what it has to offer you wont regret it
