Sept. 2025
This game alone changed my perspective on Anime , Visual Novels and Japanese games forever. How you may ask this game change me? Its a long story. One day I was looking for Switch horror games on eBay. I picked up a few and noticed this game for Switch. I didn't look anything into it because I wanted fresh takes on games for fun and assumed from the title it would be cool. Days go by and it arrives in the mail and I looked it at it and noticed it was "A Weeb game". I thought just having this made me a Weeb. Years of my life I didn't watch Anime (besides Dragon Ball Z) because I thought they were for weirdos and stuff. Already spending the money for the game 60+ because it was a Limited Run game for Switch I put it in the Switch and said "Ill give it a try." Now I wont lie to you the first like hour of the game for me felt like a eternity. It was so boring to me and I kinda felt like a weirdo playing. But I wanted to push myself because like I mentioned I already spent the money and opened the game at this point since it was sealed. The next day I noticed myself getting more involved in the game like saying out loud "Oh she lying." or "Damn she cooked." or even "Yeah this guy taking his L." Little did I think I was about to fully love this game. After each day I would get home from work just to see what happens next. I would not sleep for work the next day just to see a bit more of what happens next. I then got my first ending and felt emotion! Even though I knew it wasn't cannon I felt for the characters pain. Eventually I got another and another till I had every ending and loved every part of it. I remember thinking after the whole game was done I said "Wow that was incredible." To someone who most likely played a billion Visual Novels this is just another one to them. To me though this is... I can't even describe to myself. I am very happy that I gave this a chance. Now I honestly want to play another one! I think now Ill give anime a chance! This game will go down as one of my all time favorites! This review will most likely get lost in the mountains of reviews. But if I can do my part and support the devs by buying the PC version to support them then I think I did my part. Thank you for this fantastic experience and if its one thing I learned from this game from a quote I made its "Fate may bind us, but our choices define us."

I loved every second of this game. It might have a slower start but i think that works in the VNs favor. The OST is great and i like the artstyle. I can only recommend Fatal Twelve.

I'm a big fan of yuri, and I would say this is one of the best yuri visual novels. I first played this game for free a long time ago. Years later, I suddenly thought about it again, so I bought it and played it once more. I didn’t remember exactly what happened, and it was still so good. Sometimes I laughed, felt concerned, and was on edge. I just couldn’t stop playing until I finished it and got all the endings and choices. Unfortunately, there are no detective-style choices like in Danganronpa or Ace Attorney, where you can build your own case. It’s more like picking what you want to say, and the story continues. It takes around 40 hours to finish everything and unlock all achievements. As for the yuri relationship, I have to say it’s really good, and I ship them a lot. I highly recommend it to all yuri fans!

I was really excited to play this vn and it definitely didn't disappoint! There are so many things I love about this game, though because of that I'm even more frustrated by its negative aspects since I keep imagining how epic it would've been without them lol. Overall I'm really impressed by the production, the art is beautiful (though I was kind of hoping for more CG variety) and the soundtrack is insanely good! The game's whole design is just very aesthetically pleasing to me. The plot is interesting and I was highly invested in the story, the whole "selection system" is quite intriguing and I loved whenever there were action moments. I love the fun characters and enjoyed finding out more about them throughout the story, but I often hated what was done to them eventually, like WHY DID HALF OF THE CAST WILLINGLY SACRIFICE THEMSELVES? . I found it weird that some of them had a complete mind-switch within a few weeks, which made the later "rounds" of the selection way less intense than I was hoping for. Otherwise something I perceive to be rather neutral are the pespective changes: on one hand I enjoyed them for the variety and learning more about the cast but on the other hand it felt like the game started doing them too early on, which made some moments less impactful and more predictable. Besides I believe that the perspective changes didn't use their potential, since many valuable and interesting actions that could've been shown just ended up being briefly mentioned (I'm particularly talking about the badass characters who are somehow capable of nearly anything but the game just demonstrates NONE of their abilities, "connections", etc). Now the game manages to create a nice and epic atmosphere during certain scenes but I feel like the overall atmosphere often tends to lack a sense of urgency and despair, since there are constant sudden switches between suspenseful moments and casual scenes which feels unnatural at times. Also probably the only thing I actually despised about the game is the romance... I wish it was possible to just put Rinka in a harem with Mao and Naomi, instead of forcing her in a relationship with that insufferable, childish brat Miharu .... Either way I like the different endings, they kind of have pacing issues (some are way too short, whereas others way too long) but as a whole it was nice to see different outcomes. I genuinely didn't expect the plot to end up being that complex in the true ending, some of it feels a bit "too much" but at the same time I found it fun to learn about it. Altogether I really love the game's whole concept and was immersed in the story but the execution ended up somewhat underwhelming occasionally, despite how amazing the potential is. Still a very clever and entertaining visual novel, in my opinion!

Gorgeous art, great characters with a good story backing them up that only very occasionally gets dips with anime-logic/ long explanations of the system behind events works. Enjoyed reading it through and the endings I got were satisfying for the most part. More of a straight visual novel with some choices of varying consequence scattered throughout. Would be nice if they fixed the eye colour inconsistency in the route for ending 2/3
