My favorite fishing simulator. The dungeon part is good too, i guess used to play it on the app that came with new computers, that would let you launch it about 10 times for free, and it was the first thing i bought when i learned what steam was the game itself is a bit old, but its simple, relaxing and fun

Great simple early 2000s dungeon crawler, it's great at scratching the Diablo itch since their publisher refuses to make an acceptable game.

Step 1) buy fishing pole Step 2) become a fishing game. Step 3) Fish... Fish.. Fish.. Step 4) Sell fish Step 5) repeat step 3 and 4 till you fish up some gear and enough gear to use on your dungeon crawl. Step 6) Save perm fish for your pet to transform into. Step 7) double check that this is fate and not a fishing simulator.

I had incredibly fond memories of playing this game as a free demo for three tries on hp computers back in my childhood with my first laptop, my siblings and i couldnt buy the full game as kids. now as a 25 year old, its been nostalgiac to buy this game and play through it . i have nearly reached the boss , i keep dying, but i half dont want to win. if i win, its over. from what i understand there is replay value within this game, and i have the next games in the series in my steam library waiting to be played. but still, i dont want it to be over yet, I hope that the people who worked on this game have received all the thanks in the world they deserve for such a great dungeon crawler. it may be a basic procedrually generated dungeon crawler with a lot of grinding to level up, it does have some quaint texture glitches on the yetis, slightly poorly optimised for large groups of enemy attacks, but i love it. no one knows what it is if i mention it, but this is my favourite game in the world. this has been my favourite game in the world.

I have a special place in my heart for FATE, as it was the first video game I ever played, courtesy of the Windows XP demo (haha!). Little did I know, it would spark a lifelong passion for gaming, particularly for dungeon crawlers and fantasy games. I vividly remember the day I started playing and the countless hours I spent on my old PC, enthralled by the game's captivating world. Even though it was just a demo at the time, FATE ignited a love for gaming that has only grown stronger with time. Thank you, FATE, for the memories and for setting me on this incredible journey of creativity and nostalgia. I owe you one. :)
