It's a great game with the only issues being how they did the co-op, a couple bugs, and the lack of instructions that really messed up my experience. For the co-op when your playing with someone you want to tell them what happened or text them ingame whats happening in the moment which i think was really fun, however when the characters interact on their own like you didn't talk to eachother it can kill the immersion. For the bugs at the beginning of the game i was stuck because the game highlighted all the stuff you needed to pack but just left out one of them. And then after you pack them if you don't pack them a certain way the car just won't move. At the end of the game when you have to escape in the car it goes extremely slow and the only way to win is to glitch the guy hunting you behind the car, which just made the ending extremely anticlimatic. And finally the lack of instructions is the worst part. For all the other issues you could kinda get past excluding the one with the car at the end, but for the chase the lack of instructions just killed the horror part of the game for me. Me and my friend had no clue where to go or what to do and we spent over 20 attempts just trying to figure it out before we had to skip through a playthrough to figure it out. And that could've been solved so easily by just like giving voicelines saying like "we need to go to the basement and hide" after a failed attempt. So overall great game but ruined by small stuff that could be fixed very easily if the game had just been playtested.

There are some bugs, but I still enjoyed this new multiplayer mode. You can play it with a friend or use matchmaking to play with a stranger, which makes the experience feel different from the previous Fears to Fathom games.

This game had the potential to be amazing, one of the best in the series. In the beginning and the middle, tension was building up like crazy. But in my opinion it got ruined by the predictable 'chase' element at the end of every Rayll installation. Let's evaluate then: THE PROS: + Voice acting was pretty damn good. No complaints here. Each character had their own creative and unique voices, even the ones we barely see. + Co op element was GREAT. Experiencing one thing while the other player experiences something else whilst you are apart was done great. Every time I was away from my friend I was genuinely quite scared. + Tension building was also pretty good. The sudden 'can't fix your car', sent to a random house, greeted by the warm and kind lady, then finding out what it really was. THE CONS - The damn chase scene. All the tension built up, it was just wasted with an extended chase scene which was not enjoyable. It was predictable, lackluster and just terrible in my opinion. Also the lack of checkpoints was annoying. Me and my buddy genuinely didn't know where to go and kept dying, and we kept getting sent back to the beginning of the chase. - It was pretty damn dark to the point where we could genuinely not see where to go. The flashlight didn't help as well. Also no option to turn off VHS, I believe that was an option in the previous installments (?) - A few bugs were present, only one was game breaking. But there are bugs in every game, and this is new, so we didn't mind restarting the checkpoint. Although there's a lot of cons, the game has just released. And the actual story was great, but it just gets ruined by the chase. The co op element was great! Coming back to the room to tell your friend what happened on their side was so cool. I hope Rayll makes more co op games, just without the chases lol
