This game is seriously incredible. It’s easily one of the most in-depth and unique idle games I’ve ever played, and if you’re on the fence about grabbing it during the Steam Fishing Fest, don’t be, I highly recommend this game. It’s absolutely worth the price, even at full cost. Visually, it has an appealing, charming art style, and its gameplay loop is both addictive and satisfying. What really impressed me was how it stays mechanically simple to control, yet offers incredible depth. There are tons of fishing locations, rare fish variants, fishing rod upgrades, recipe upgrades that unlock new dishes, restaurant mini-quests, decor to unlock for both the restaurant and aquarium, cosmetics for your workers and boat, the list goes on. You’re constantly progressing without feeling overwhelmed by complexity. But what truly sets this apart from other idlers are some entirely original mechanics. Most notably, the "speed up" mechanic. While the game is open, any keyboard or mouse input on your PC speeds up your fishing. So just typing or working on something boosts your catch rate. It’s one of the most clever integrations of passive and active play I’ve ever seen in this genre, and it makes playing (or even just having the game open) feel incredibly rewarding. Then there’s the Hatchery, which starts simple, put two of the same fish in, and they passively duplicate. But as you progress, you unlock food that gives a chance to generate rare variants without grinding for them in the wild. Plus, high-level fish generate massive income here. The Aquarium is another highlight. You can decorate it with backgrounds and items, store your rare fish in it, and admire your collection. But it’s not just for looks, it passively earns you money too. And if you take the time to feed the fish, it temporarily doubles the income. It's a perfect blend of aesthetics and function. On top of that, I really appreciate how the game blends idle and active mechanics. Managing sushi bar recipes and feeding aquarium fish gives you reasons to stay engaged. And while on the boat screen, clicking passing objects gives you coins, decor, and other fun rewards. You’re constantly rewarded for being present, which is rare in the idle genre. I’ve sunk way more time into this than I expected, and I’m still finding new things to do. If you’re even slightly curious, do yourself a favor and grab it. Totally worth it!

Dave the Diver setting in a Rusty's Retirement world. There's a nice amount of things to upgrade, the pixel graphics are cute and there's fun Easter Eggs. It has enough to keep you engaged, but keeps a good pace when idled. Overall, it's a solid side companion game!

If you like idle games such as Rusty's Retirement and fishing games such as Dave the Diver you will most likely like this one. It runs in the background and if you work or game you will speed up the fishing of the idle game. It has a sushi place you can upgrade your dishes and sell the fish, overall you can also upgrade how long the fishing will take before you run out of bait so the game is really nice as it will only take a short time to get back to full idle once in a while. While there are some very fun cross game promo chars in this game, I would love to see the crew from Dave the Diver and Rusty make a debut in this once as well. Bancho's Sushi is the best. I really like it, for this price definetly worth checking out and a thumbs up from me.

Basically Dave the Diver in idler format. Catch fish, sell fish in your sushi bar, manage hatchery and an aquarium. It's a bit too simple and repetitive, some more interactive and management mechanics could make the game more engaging and interesting. This game also registers all your mouse clicks and keyboard inputs in the background which in turn contributes to catching fish faster. So while you have the game in the background it progresses faster while you're busy doing other things which is quite ingenius for an idler. More idlers should make use of this mechanic.

Randomly stumbled across this game in the Steam fishing fest, decided to pick it up and I have to say... I'm really enjoying it so far, fishing, chilling and running a sushi shop while doing my tasks on computer. If you've played Rusty's retirement, ur going to love this game as well :)
