I grew up on Counter-strike, Dota, Call of Duty and other shooters and I didn't even consider such games. And now I'm finally ready to admit, I like pixel graphics in general. No amount of 3D effects and hyper-realism can compare to pixel art. The game is literally overflowing with aesthetics and a relaxing atmosphere. The pixel art looks amazing and incredibly cozy. This is one of the most visually pleasing pixel drawings I've ever seen. After a while, it became a bit monotonous for me. But I found fun in getting all 100% achievements. It's so beautiful. So beautiful.

Ideas that would make this game better: 1. Have us right click bait and rods so we have the ability to stop the idle from changing it. 2. A notification when something bites the bait, like a (!) marker like Stardew Valley. 3. Visible fish in the boat the more you have. It can be comically large. 4. Have pets be useful, like making noise when it can sense a trophy/legendary fish. 5. Actual person & pet customisation instead of it being a randomizer. (This was added!) 6. Cat lovers would be pleased to have more than one breed. Add Tuxedo cats. 7. Leaderboards. Be it random NPC names or actual players. 8. A seasonal change, have certain times of the year have different fish, trophies and legendaries. Winter, Summer, Spring, Autumn. (This was added!) 9. Shiny fish. Rare colour varients that sell higher and/or are trophy fish. 10, Larger boats which could theoredically have a co-op idea. (This was added!) I rather enjoy this game. Not much to say, it can get boring, but that's why the idle makes it better. Sure, you make less money, but whatever... I especially like the calmness of no ambient music underwater. Edit: Definitely nominated for best chill game.
