I just finished the game in 12 hours, and I had a lot of fun with it. I was skeptical going in but the rhythm aspects are incorporated really well into the turn-based gameplay in a way that is unique and fun. It was very addictive collecting riffs and upgrades and I had trouble putting the game down because most of the game flowed very intuitively. My only complaints are that 1) the bass is a little overpowered, especially for what is supposed to be a rather early game weapon, and 2) the stealth section near the end of the game was jarring and harmed the momentum of the climax. Other than those minor complaints, I enjoyed every moment of this game and I definitely don't regret the $14 I spent on it. I'll probably come back to it in a few days to get the last of the achievements for the 100% :)

It's weird to find a game that fits me so perfectly. It's like paper mario combat with a deckbuilder aspect to your "pool" of available attack/defense commands each turn. (you can spend up to 3 and draw up to 3). The fact that this exists makes me very happy, can't wait to play more.

Fairly linear so far but excellent combination of Slay the Spire with a bit more JRPG feel. The different instruments feel distinct from each other. Plays great on Deck besides some text scaling issues.

I've only played the first hour but this game is special. A wonderful celebration of music and indie games put together. Very satisfying combat with 10/10 music playing every second of the experience. Really great stuff, thank you Rob! I love what you've done!
