From Madness with Love is definitely going to be a visual novel like none other that you've played, I can guarantee that. If I had to compare it to something, I would say it's in a similar vein to Hatoful Boyfriend: very nonsensical dialogue/scenarios, meta humor, and twist endings that you don't expect. I really enjoyed this overall; the jokes are right up my alley and put me in the mind of Gintama's sense of humor. The pixel artstyle is very cute and vibrant, and I loved the voice acting (there were parts that you could tell the VA's broke a bit, which cracked me up). My only complaint is that one character seemed a bit more fleshed out than the rest, but it was still fun to explore the other routes nonetheless. I will certainly be picking up the DLC to see just how unhinged the story gets~
c'était........ une expérience ??? le style est mignon, les illus sympa et déjantées, comme les dialogues. le talent de ce jeu, c'est de te faire décrocher des dialogues très vite parce que tu comprends rien, avant de te donner un coup dans l'estomac avec la fin (quelque soit la route). bon euh je suis pas fan des stéréotypes (jeune garçon, prof qu'on peut date...) mais comme c'est le dernier des soucis dans le jeu mdr je ferme les yeux. + c'est très clairement parodique j'ai commencé par la route de saeki et ça reste mon personnage préféré dans le jeu. sinon l'histoire est plaisante scénaristiquement parlant. je sais pas si je recommande mais c'est une Expérience
This game is honestly incredible. I found myself laughing throughout so much of the main story, the humor is entirely up my alley. And yet, upon reaching each of the endings, my heart would hurt for each of the boys. Around late January, the story suddenly becomes incredibly serious and generally well-written...something that would be apparent throughout the rest of it if I had thought about it further. It's incredible...the switch up. I found this particularly interesting during Marshmallow's route, where the more serious part is more commonly intertwined throughout the entirety of it, instead of just during the last portion. Anyways...this game is incredible! I highly recommend it!
I don't think I will ever be able to explain this but if I were to actually say I would recommend it cautiously because the game is defiintely not for everyone and I totally get if anyone did not like this game in the slightest. With that out of the way, I LOVE this game somehow... and that is all I will say about it!
