I went into this game thinking it was going to be a cute, chaotic, fluffy dating sim because of the pastel colors and cute art - I did not carefully read the description or the reviews. It totally delivered on the cute and chaotic, lol. Unfortunately, any fluffy “first love” sweet romance feels you might have while playing are very short lived. Let’s just say, don’t play this game expecting any happy endings. It’s the type of game that leaves you speculating about the ending because it forces you to make your own interpretation of what happens to you and your love interest. And it also leaves you kind of confused and dazed throughout the whole experience as you are surrounded by people speaking absolute gibberish. (I try to convince myself that they’re probably using some sort of made up slang, but no, it’s gibberish, lol). This is a game best played completely blind, no spoilers, as it heavily relies on surprises and plot twists. The gameplay is simple enough, so you can get by without a guide so long as you follow the general rules for these types of games, which is to focus on only one love interest for each play through. Each love interest only has a total of 2 endings, and a 3rd ending if you buy the dlc. If you save in the right spots in the game, you can load, play, and finish all endings relatively quickly. I played for longer since I like to explore the different dialogue for every option and listen to the voice actors as I read the dialogue. If you don’t feel like repeating certain events/dialogue on your subsequent play sessions, there is an option to skip it so that you can move on to the next event. Again, if you are looking for happy endings, this game is not for you. While there aren’t really explicit images in the game, the game and story has underlying dark themes that one might not expect from a game with such bright and colorful esthetics. The endings overall left me a bit sad without much closure, but I still liked the game because I appreciate the art, music, voice acting, and unique characters. Would I recommend this game to others? Only to people who like short stories and games that taste like bittersweet dark chocolate. For those who want to know if this game is playable on steam deck, I played this game solely on steam deck to completion. At the time of this review, I did not encounter deal-breaking bugs during my sessions. The main thing that I did notice during random parts of my play sessions was that sometimes, the dialogue would not fully display suddenly and/or the dialogue choices for your character do not display automatically for you. When that happens, you will need to use the trackpad to make the mouse hover over the empty space where these options should have popped up. When you do this, the game will return to normal and the full dialogue and choices will appear the way they were supposed to.

this was somewhat an emotional rollercoaster and i wasnt expecting the endings nor some of the scenes/cgs of the gameee + i like how it would look somehow cliche or boring at first but when you do play for real its actually like a fever dream cause the crazy stuff gets shoved right into your face (in a good way imo) play if u wanna traumatize yourself or giggle and kick your feet its a slice of both!!!

Idk if I should recommend this or not. if you play for the story? -no, don't. It's not really worth it. BUT, if you play for the fun and madness , then, go ahead. This game truly captures every kind of madness (and fetishes?), but doesn't really dive deep into each of them (in my opinion). Cons: - There were a lot of bugs when I played, and it kind of ruined my experience (I can't turn off the streamer mode & I can't finish aorta's route). - I'm not sure if it's the MC narrating or speaking in dialogue, as I don't find any difference. - The endings are only affected by the final choice, which is a bit disappointing to me bcs it made exploring other choices feel pointless. Pros: - It drives me mad. Tho he's not my fav char, Marshmallow's route is the best route in my opinion -BUT, I recommend u to save his route for last. My fav char is actually Shuuji... but idk how I feel anymore after finish the game lol. Overall rate: 7/10
