The hitting mechanics are better than topspin 2025, although Topspin has more depth, if you like that sort of thing, plus the popular players. Being an avid tennis player, I will go for the best match, which I find in FTAS.

A fantastic Tennis Simulator. If you like to play tennis in real life you will like the gameplay, it is so fluid and fun to play. It is not like any other arcadey tennis games on the market. It has a steep learning curve at the beginning but once you get a grip the gameplay is so satisfying on hard difficulty. Pros : - Satisfying Gameplay. - Extremely addictive once overcome the beginning hurdle. - AI is smart on higher difficulty so its feel like you are playing a real game. - Ball, Net & Court physics are amazing. - Challenging Online matches. Cons: - Outdated graphics. - No Doubles. - No WTA. - Career mode not in depth like TE4. - Player movement feels a bit weighty at times. Hopefully the dev will continue to improve the game.

Full Ace is a fantastic tennis simulator. In many aspects, it's on par with Tennis Elbow 4. And when it comes to fun factor of playing the game and satisfaction of pulling off a great shot, Full Ace takes the cake for me in tennis genre. In no other tennis game do I feel as excited getting a real banger of a flat shot as in this game! The biggest pros of Full Ace: - fun factor - gameplay depth - highly adjustable difficulty - very good AI logic - the best serving mechanics in the genre - ball & court physics are excellent - satisfying online experience The biggest cons: - graphics not at modern gaming standard - running animations are visually unappealing - no WTA - serviceable single-player career mode (lacks depth found in TE4 for instance) - limited player models (only few variations) Also, if you'd like to play tennis game on full manual controls, Full Ace is right up your alley! The gameplay mechanics will appeal to those of you coming from more arcade tennis titles (like Topspin) due to how shot release timing works in Full Ace.
