Cutest roguelike i've seen in a good while, super clean. The way my jaw dropped when i realized it was all voice-acted. It's story-focused very similar to Hades, i'm finding it to be very well-balanced overall, most weapons/powers seem viable and exciting. I just can't overstate how amazing and cute the art of this game is, and it's very cheap too. What a find.
TLDR: Story: 8/10 Gameplay: 9/10 Acessibility: 8/10 Art: 10/10 Overall: 9/10 Story: The story is plain, though good, I hope that new things come in the official launch. Gameplay: Feels great to play, only strange thing is that the character does not turn around whatsoever Acessiblity: Controls are very good, haven't tested in keyboard, from what i've seen, keyboard is not very good, controller is fine. Art: This game has the top tier goons and the top tier cuteness can't tell me otherwise The game does not have a lot of content, which makes me a little sad, cause I liked this game alot, from what I expect until now the game will have about 10-15 hours of playtime, which is not alot, and that is not speedrunning. Feedback: Add more content that could make the game longer, e.g. Making so you are able to build a garden, making this truly a cult of the lamb 2 (I love this game though its much much like it) Make so you can leave without needing to get things from your armory
I've had a good time with this so far, 2.5hr logged love the art style, reminds me of Cult of the Lamb, but with fairy tale witches and no annoying (to me) base management, I don't like taking care of all the villagers in that game, so I actually like this game better than Cult feels kinda easy at first, but stick with it
Been a fan of Team Tapas work for a while, started with "A girl Adrift" years ago on the phone, then "Bistro Heroes" and when in that game they announced they were working on this, i was waiting for it. I love their artstyle, gameplay is fun, although the game is more of a boss rush than a proper roguelike since the enemies in normal rooms are so laughably easy they might aswell just be target practice. all in all, great little game, made by a great team, cant wait to see what more they'll create!
