I will absolutely recommend this game with a big disclaimer. Pros: The weapon variety is fantastic. I really enjoyed the art style. It's unique and interesting in a reasonably flooded market. The core concept and mechanics are very appealing. Feels a lot like Witchfire but more more weapon variety. Cons: Not enough enemy types so it feels somewhat stale not long in. Updates are slow. The big disclaimer are the cons. This game could be so much better with a larger variety of enemies. This game has all of the bones and organs to make a really fantastic game, it just needs a little bit more flesh. I almost gave it a negative review but honestly I just really, really can't wait to see how it turns out in another few months. I have a lot of hope for continued support.
This game has the sauce, but I would probably wait a couple years to pick it up. Right now the enemy variety is simply too shallow and the strategy for fighting them not distinct enough. As long as that gets improved before it's finished then this will probably be one of the best solo dev games on the market.
Please don't abandon the development of this game. Gameplay-wise it gave me tons of joy compared to most of the games I played this year. Please consider adding dark ambient and maybe even black metal tracks to the soundtrack. Also, the game would benefit from having more lore. It's already super fun, but it could become my personal GOTY once it's fully released.
