A solid and experimental indie-horror/walking simulator. Miserable story and strange level progression. Worth a try, especially on sale.

Not a bad game, although it is a little slow, short, and is a walking sim horror game (so no real threat). It requires waiting sometimes, which on repeat runs is boring, but if something breaks there is a menu system to allow you to start from any chapter of the game easily, which is much appreciated. Now the real fun is being able to clip through walls by ramming the character at it hard, which surprisingly made the game more fun to see the development techniques, since you can go out of bounds almost anywhere. I would say get this game on sale, since there is not much replay value and it is short, but the story and atmosphere is interesting enough to justify a recommendation.

This indie horror game is a standout, offering a refreshingly experimental approach. It seamlessly blends a compelling narrative with a haunting atmosphere, making it feel almost like a thoughtful walking simulator. I appreciate how it stands out from the typical low-budget horror games that often rely heavily on monster chases and excessive jump scares. I'm eagerly anticipating the next installment.

God's Basement has a great story telling and touches a quite sensitive topic of generational trauma - Highly recommended for psychological horror fans! On the visual side there is not much to say - it just looks nice and well done. Audio succeds to expand the mysterious atmosphere, somewhere between anger and resignation, under the fear of god or some higher entity wich guides you through it's "basement" - an office that is related to the life of the main character. The story is well written, nothing too special but it does a really good job dragging in the player. As the mysteries of your family unfold, there will be very sensitive moments and uninhibited anger... Overall this is a great game and also a steal for the price too. Looking forward for more
