Really nice game. Has plant tending, city building, and exploration elements, with no combat. And you can customize your own character, other villagers, and all the buildings. I found it very relaxing.

Have you ever played fae farm? Dreamlight valley? Coral island? If yes you’ll like this game, if no- and you like this game, you’ll like those ones too. This game is charming and has some of the most unique character designs. I really like this game. I will say there are some missed opportunities when it comes to cutscenes, the evergreen growing is the same cinematic over and over so far, and same with the withering roots retreating, and a barren empty field turning green that isn’t the actual land you just unlocked. Having a cinematic for the land you unlock can show you caves, fishing spots, scenic views even. I love the story. I also encountered a bug when unlocking the first town where you’re supposed to highlight a house to place the new people- I didn’t scroll between the inn and the house it went straight for the house didn’t register it in the tutorial, gave me the achievement for placing the person in the house and then wouldn’t let me do anything so I had to restart from the last save and make sure I scrolled through the different housing options. I had assumed since it was already on the house I needed I was fine to continue maybe I didn’t read. Easily fixable with a quick restart save.

It's a mid game, to be honest. The concept is super cute, and the worlds can be cute, but the actual game play is the same thing over and over again. You pull plants, plant them, water them, and on to the next. It is cute that you can customize your own world, build up villagers, and Grow. It's not an all bad game, just the repetativeness gets to you quickly. (I've played about 100 hours of this on playstation as well so obviously I stood it for some time) Ultimately didn't finish the game because, yes it's cool to create worlds, the actual gameplay is too boring.

took me 62 game days to complete. after you complete the storyline you can continue for as long as you want. basically you make world seeds using essences, what essences are used effect the world type and what essences you gather from objects within that world. (4-5 types with a total of 50 essence are used to make a world, that world will give the same type of essences used to make it and 5 others) along side that you also build little towns to get people to come live there and build harmony up in those towns. (building businesses and then placing people into their dream jobs, and decorating the area). while exploring you can find caves, chests and the vaults. the vaults are needed to be completed for the storyline. there are three puzzles to each vault and some puzzles here and there in the world/world seeds. there is a bit of repetition and it can get boring but you can do as you want each day. you're not bound to certain tasks. puzzles aren't hard even the maze isn't bad (although some call it a labyrinth) animals on world seeds can be tamed and added as pets to people homes, to nature reserves, or to ranches. there is fishing and bug catching but it's not necessary for completion. (other than for fun you catch them for settler quests, to place in nature reserves, or to trade the everkin.) sometimes when u build a building there are chests found in the construction site. but there's a bug where after awhile they start spawning in as already opened, quick fix is to save and relog in. then the chests can be opened as intended. another issue i had was after playing for several hours straight the icons and things became blurry, but saving and relogging fixed that. you can't die in this game but you can like go out of bounds and be reset near where you were. (can't swim so if you go into deep water you spawn back on land) some things in the game are overly cute and others are more gross like smelly worlds that have eyeball, and mouth plants and make a squishing sound when jumping. pink is over used >,< which seems to be a fade with games like these.. the days don't seem to be as long as i would have liked. but you can still do a bit within a day. and there's not a time/day limit. ( time stops while in where-ever, or while in caves/vaults) anyways it's a laid back relaxing game that even a child can play.

Wish i could give this a neutral review because its not bad, but not really fun either. Its one of those games that has a very cool idea and some fun, casual gameplay with some mild platforming and puzzle elements, but it lacks in execution. Simply said: it is shallow, simple and bland, many gameplay elements lack depth. Like you can build "worlds" that once there are stationary resource mines that you visit now and then to gain the resources. But resources.. dont do much. You sometimes find materials like wood stoon iron, copper that say they are used for things... but all they do is yield "elements" that are the actual resources. It is extremely easy to have immense surpluses to the point of making the resources mechanic almost obsolete as soon as you have played 6 hours. You build "towns" that only serve to get unlocks through population and happiness. (the unlocks being next town districts, which act as totally separate towns) Building a flour mill does nothing except make the miller happy to count towards the happiness. the cafe the same. No one goes there except the barista. The bakery just has the employee and no one ever buys a pie, and the baker doesnt use flower from the mill. All the town expansion does is driving back a dark force called "the withering" This is a nice colorful, casual game that has lots to do but nothing that really matters much. After building a few worlds and expanding the first town, you have enough to never bother with all that and build all the towns. until the end. After 22 hours in i am kinda bored and just play it off and on to maybe one day see what happens if you end the withering. Its basically like a simple mobile game. If you do get it, get it on a heavy sale. Not worth more than 10 bucks. At a low price it can be a thumbs up if what i described is your thing.
