Pretty fun, chill game. First thing you should do is go to options and check the box that allows you to collect resources by just hovering instead of holding down the mouse button.

Just dropping a positive review to counter all the negative ones where people who don't like incremental clicker games complain that they didn't enjoy this incremental clicker game. The general feel is sublime, the visuals and sound in particular are charming. My only complaints are that the UI could be better (edge scrolling is pointlessly slow even at the maximum speed, upgrade manual bookmarks don't make sense....why are they moving around?!), and the combat feels pretty meh. Would've been so much better if the enemies actually approached your settlement on the map, but oh well. Well worth the cheap price the dev is asking!

So I played the demo before the full game released, and I Totally knew I was going to buy Hearth and Hamlet when it came out. The demo completely sold me on it, and now that I’ve finally gotten my hands on the full game, I’m even more stoked with the purchase. Hearth and Hamlet is EXACTLY the kind of cozy game I love. There’s something incredibly satisfying about building up my little settlement, watching it grow, and slowly turning it into a place that actually feels like home. The vibe is chill, the art style is super cute and yay pixal ! , and the whole game has this relaxing feeling without becoming boring. There’s always something to work toward, but it never feels like the game is rushing me. I also love that the demo gave me enough of a taste of the game to know that this was 100% something I wanted to support. And now I’m happily sinking hours into my own little town. If you enjoy cozy management games, town building, or just want something relaxing that you can get completely absorbed in, Hearth and Hamlet is absolutely worth checking out. I played the demo, fell in love with it, bought the full game, and have zero regrets. 10/10 Would absolutely ignore every real-world responsibility to go build my little hamlet.

Its not chill as soon as the game forces you to keep a militia with rising costs to defend against enemies. I dont like that. The rest of the game is kinda nice. Nice music, good progression and cute visuals.
