(100% Review - Steam Deck - 2026) I just did 100% in 2026, playing entirely on Steam Deck, and I have to say: this game is much better than most reviewers say. It reminds me a little of A Hat in Time, but with dark humor. Great movement, engaging worlds, and a fun sense of exploration. The game is mostly focused on collectibles, exploration, and platforming challenges. There are some bosses with a decent level of difficulty, but they're not the main focus of the game. I had fun throughout the entire process of getting 100%. First, I explored everything on my own, and near the end I used guides to track down the last few collectibles (some are really hard to find on your own). The only part that wasn't particularly enjoyable was the grind required for the 1% achievement and the last few skins. However, you can earn money quickly at the slot machines by saving when you win and reloading when you lose. I made around 13,000 coins this way. I did find a few minor bugs, but nothing game-breaking: ● 3x "Fatal Error" crashes - I simply relaunched the game and continued playing immediately. ● 2x a control bug where Up becomes Right, Right becomes Down, Down becomes Left, and Left becomes Up. Apparently, this can happen if you die and respawn while holding a direction. Again, the issue was easily fixed by restarting the game. It only happened twice in 23 hours of gameplay. ● A bug in Dr. Jell's Emergency where an NPC threw an item into the abyss and it did not respawn immediately. I posted my solution in the bug discussion thread. Overall, I had a great time with the game and definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys collectathons and exploration-focused platformers. At least on Steam Deck in 2026, it's perfectly possible to get 100%.

Hell Pie is a surprisingly great 3D platformer with a completely unhinged sense of humor, tight movement and a ridiculous setting. Mechanically, the game is actually super solid. The movement feels fast and smooth, and once you get the swinging down with your chained cherub, it becomes one of the most fun traversal systems I’ve used in a platformer. Levels are big, full of secrets, and give you plenty of room to mess around with momentum. Combat isn’t the main focus, but it’s snappy enough to not get in the way. The humor is loud, crude, and proudly disgusting. The whole world leans into this “gross but funny” vibe, and it constantly throws bizarre characters and over the top situations at you. It’s immature in all the right ways, but also weirdly charming because the game commits so hard to the bit. The setting fits the tone perfectly twisted, colorful, and completely chaotic. Every area feels like it was designed by someone who said “what if we made it even weirder?” and then actually did. It keeps things fresh and gives the game its own identity.

A hidden gem of a platformer with a unique movement mechanic. It hooked me straight from the very first levels with its music, humor, visuals and best of all - the old movies refereneces (like The Fly and Scarface). PS: Don’t play this one with your kids.

It tells you right in the game's description that it's disgusting, and it is. Don't buy it then leave a bad review if you're not down with gore, bodily fluids, grotesque nudity, swearing, and drug references. Go play Mario Sunshine, Crash Bandicoot, or some other children's game. Luckily for me, all of those things are the exact reasons I bought this game and it doesn't disappoint. Hell Pie is a competent 3D platformer where you play as Nate, The Demon of Bad Taste and his cherub sidekick, Nugget. You can look up the secrets and speed run it, but I prefer exploring and Hell Pie offers a fair amount of hidden objects and optional content to explore. The zones and dungeons are incredibly well designed. The enemies and bosses are very imaginative. I really enjoyed my time with this game.
