I genuinely love this game. There is nothing else that matches the feeling of dropping into dive with three friends, barely surviving a horde of bots, bugs, or squids, and extraction-climbing into the Pelican while the entire map explodes behind you. It’s cinematic, it’s hilarious, and when it works, it’s the best co-op shooter on Steam. Even deaths can be entertaining. Sometimes, even losing is funny. But, what isn't funny? It feels like every time the community finds a weapon or a playstyle that actually makes us feel powerful, it gets hit with the nerf hammer. I’m all for a challenge, but "difficulty" shouldn't come from making our favorite tools feel like pea-shooters or swarming us with bullet sponges like the Vox Engine. We want more viable options, not fewer. The devs seem to balance based on spreadsheets rather than how the game actually feels to play. Then there’s the Galactic War itself. We’ve lost the last three Major Orders in a row, some by incredibly narrow margins. When you spend an entire week grinding a specific planet only to lose the MO by 1%, it doesn't feel like a hard-fought defeat—it feels rigged. It leaves a bitter taste in your mouth when it feels like the developers have already decided we’re going to lose to push a certain narrative, regardless of how much effort the community puts in. Arrowhead, please: talk to us. Treat the community like your squadmates, not your enemies. We need transparency, not cryptic lore posts, when the game is crashing or when an MO feels mathematically impossible to win. Fix the balance issues by buffing the weak stuff instead of killing the fun stuff, and stop making the Galactic War feel like a scripted loss. I want to keep playing this for the next five years. Don't make it harder than it needs to be.

This being my first steam review I figured I give it to the game I'd played most here. Pre launch my brother had been telling me about this game and how cool it looked and to be honest I never really bothered to look at it, because at the time, It was a pretty low time in my life going to a college I didn't like, working a job that I hated, and not really talking to anyone. About 4 days after launch I saw this game show up front page of the steam store and remembered my brother was saying and that he wished he was able to get the game because it wasn't available on Xbox yet. I figured what the hell, losing 40 bucks wouldn't kill me and my god... Loading into the game and being met with the opening cinematic was magic. For 2 weeks straight every day I booted up the game I never skipped it. And after that first drop I was immediately hooked. I ended up playing till the crack of dawn with one random and after every mission we would salute each other and drop again. Next day I bought the deluxe edition just because I felt the devs deserve the support. Something about this game had me feeling something I haven't felt about gaming in a long while and I could tell that a lot of passion and love went behind making this game. The music, the gunplay, the sense of patriotism and community, along with more music. This really was just one beautiful art piece to me and really helped me when while I was in that low state. I've been at every major battle doing my part and have seen every "It's so over" and "Were so back" moments and while occasionally I do agree with the community whenever they have big complaints, my love for this game wont ever go away and I am happy to be apart of this community. Please give me a pilot warbond I'd like some mech pilot drip as well as being able to rearm and repair vehicles and yes I know that the vehicles are supposed to be expendable or that its be unrealistic to repair them but its just another level to the fun factor I feel like needs to be added
