For an early access game, I find it's in an enjoyable state already, and the consistent updates are reassuring. I think the solo PVE extraction shooter genre is underserved so I was happy to come across this one. I'm also happy they gave this game its own character instead of being a copy paste extraction shooter. The body part system is interesting. It's a fun moment when you start looking at the other bots as a collection of body parts that you can harvest and think to yourself, "I could use that leg". The difficulty is in a pretty good place where I feel like it keeps you focused, but it's not too oppressive. There are some spikes though, like with the danger zones, where the enemies feel about 10x over the others. Some things I would like to see to be able to keep recommending this game in the future: - More reason to change out gear. I don't feel like I'm changing my loadout or customizing my weapons or body parts that often. Also, we can cut up enemies, but I rarely feel the need to do so after finding which enemy gives me the higher hp parts. - Graphics options. The lighting is pretty flat and many textures are mobile game level. I can respect that it's very accessible to lower end hardware but I would like some optional improvements to make the game more immersive. - Improvements to the inventory management system. Items don't go into their item-specific containers automatically. Stacking items don't always stack automatically. No sorting on these containers. Which items stack and which don't feels off. - And the obvious: More content. More maps. Good job so far.

My Radeon 7600 took a crap right when this game updated and I thought it was somehow correlated, and lost my temper and left a rather hateful review. I was hasty in my judgement and assumed I knew what happened and now I look a fool, let this be a lesson. That being said, This game is a solid shooter, my comments about it's quality were me lashing out in anger because I thought this game had fried my hardware somehow or given me a virus, my advice is play this game because it's honestly pretty good and is a contender in the extraction shooter genre and has a little "Johnny 5" niche that I hope kinda fills out more with future development which I think it will. I apologize to the Devs and anyone else I upset with my wrong and hasty conclusions and judgement.

Just thought I'd add my own two cents as I've got a few hours under my belt, and really enjoyed my time with. I think theres a great game here in the making. Sure its a bit stiff in places and a little rough around the edges, but fundamentally I find it to be a very satisfying game to play. First off, dying in this game isnt the end of the world. In fact I've found it to be way more forgiving than some other extraction shooters I've played. You get your items recovered at a later time with some damage received which I think is a fair trade off. But also, you can simply jump the first hunter you see and extract with their parts and gear, and you've essentially grabbed yourself a free rig in a matter of minutes. I think the grind probably needs a little more calibration, but the devs have already addressed the economy recently which has been a huge boost to credit acquisition. I think the next big thing for me personally is the resource grind, as running back and forth between resource nodes isn't terribly engaging. Not a deal breaker, but could do with a more engaging mechanic. Combats pretty intense as the ttk for both you and your opponents is relatively low depending on weapons and armour used of course. I've seen complaints that the enemies are too laser accurate in fights, but if you get the jump on them with a good burst from an automatic then they'll be down in seconds. Also, while melee is pretty clunky at the moment, its actually pretty powerful. After getting the melee weapon off of one the police bots you've got a two hit kill on all low level hunters. The medkits are pretty stingy to begin with but once you got a bit of cash behind you, they'll greatly increase your survivability and allow you to do longer runs. Exploration is pretty fun, but the second area is by far the best being the largest and densest map. The first area is pretty large, but I think it could do with a few more POIs to spice up the runs with. Just to finish I'd like to gush about some small details I really like. The self repair animations are brilliant. I love the way your hunter whips out a cordless drill and starts bolting themselves back together. Really creative idea. Love it. The sound design is very good in my opinion. The enemy having their own spoken robot language is fun, and the whirring of all driving servos and motors in your hunter as they move sound great as well. The hunter designs are really cool with a good bit of variation, with some absolute monsters in the second area I won't spoil. I know this game has only been out for a little while, but the devs are very reactive and are currently releasing updates very frequently. Overall I think for the price this game has a lot to offer. If you're like me and want single player extraction shooter to play at your own pace, I'd definitely recommend you give it a try.

I never review games on Steam, but I felt the need to with this one after seeing the slew of ridiculous negative reviews complaining about absolutely absurd things. You’ll see people complaining about a “lack of content” while having only 20 minutes of playtime on their profile. In its current state, as a freshly released Early Access game, there is more than enough content to justify the price tag. I’ve already spent six hours running raids and haven’t even touched another map yet. As for the accusations that it’s a one-for-one copy of the mobile version, that’s simply not true and it’s a disingenuous complaint that makes no sense. They are fundamentally different games, and this one is clearly being developed specifically for PC. Yes, the game can be difficult at times, but I honestly enjoy it. I like a grind, so it works for me. Overall, it’s the only single-player extraction shooter I would recommend right now. The atmosphere and world-building are top-notch, and it has the potential to become a cult classic. For reference my most played games overall are Stalker along with it's hundreds of mods and Diablo 2, so if you're at all like me and have half a functioning brain I think you will enjoy it.

I like it! I'm seeing a lot of reviews about the mobile version—which does exist—but this version is a single-player PvE experience with all microtransactions removed, whereas the mobile version is marked as PvPvE. Personally, I prefer solo PvE games, and this delivers exactly that. Graphics could use some improvements, though I've really enjoyed the sound and atmosphere the game offers. Right now the game is on a launch offer, and at this price, I'd recommend giving it a try. I look forward to future updates!
