More Challenging Than It First Appears At first glance, Hidden Through Time looks like a simple hidden-object game designed for a few relaxing hours of casual entertainment. While that description is technically accurate, it would also be selling the game short. Beneath its charming presentation lies a surprisingly engaging experience that constantly encourages observation, curiosity, and attention to detail. After completing the game 100% and finding every hidden object, I can confidently say that it offers much more satisfaction than its simple premise initially suggests. A Journey Through History One of the game's most appealing aspects is its setting. Each level transports players to a different era, ranging from prehistoric times to medieval kingdoms and beyond. Every environment is packed with small details, tiny stories, and humorous situations hidden within the scenery. Rather than feeling like static backgrounds, the maps often resemble lively illustrations that reward players willing to carefully explore every corner. The hand-drawn art style gives each location a unique charm and makes the search process enjoyable even when you're stuck looking for a particularly elusive object. Simple to Understand, Difficult to Master The core gameplay is extremely straightforward: find the objects listed by the game and progress to the next area. However, the real challenge comes from how cleverly many of those objects are hidden. Some are immediately visible, while others blend naturally into the environment or require interacting with elements of the map to reveal them. What impressed me most is that the game manages to remain challenging without becoming frustrating. Absolutely fantastic hidden object game! Very chill experience, has replayability value, includes a great variety of maps even without DLC, offers the ability to create your own puzzles, and is super kid friendly. It also allows for decent zoom-in and the images don't lose fidelity, because some items (like the key) can be an absolute pain to spot.
