Great game. The lore is also incredible, especially when you finally piece together why the final boss stabbed himself, as he's actually trying to help you . The soundtrack is amazing. The sealed vessel OST is the only thing that kept me sane during the path of pain. The only downside is that the credits are unskippable.

There's a reason Hollow Knight is considered one of the best metroidvanias out there. Every time you think you've seen everything, the game opens up another path, another secret, or another memorable boss fight. Exploration always feels rewarding, and the world is full of little details that make Hallownest feel alive. The art style and soundtrack are incredible, the combat is satisfying, and the challenge never feels unfair. It's the kind of game that constantly rewards your curiosity, making every hour you spend exploring feel worthwhile.
This game redirected my taste for video games. I had more fun playing it than I ever imagined. I managed to achieve every single achievement, play through different randomizers and mods, complete all Pantheons, beat Steel Soul, and defeat almost every boss hitless. So what can I say except: this game is peak. The exploration is fun, the combat is easy to understand but rather hard to master, and the OST is an absolute banger. The game also has a really friendly, supportive community and great modding support. I would easily recommend it to everyone. Team Cherry really earned a place in my heart with this game. Of course, the beginning can be challenging without a map or a clear direction—but hey, you’re playing a Metroidvania, all of this is part of your Hollow Knight experience. To sum it up: a great single-player game you can try at any skill level. (Yes, you will die—but you’ll learn.)
