"Who is the target demographic of a horror-themed linguistic-based dating sim?" Me, move over. I thrive in this enviroment, and the ability to easily retry without consequence fuels me further. (I am building up immunity to jumpscares. Soon nothing will stop me.) All jokes aside, this game really drives home the the following: - Don't judge people by their first appearance. - Communication takes work from both sides. - Don't give yourself away senslessly. - Violence doesn't solve all of your problems, but it is going to solve *some* of them. - There is a tool for every task and a task for every tool. - Set your own boundaries. You shouldn't go along with someone's propositions just because they (say they) like you. - If you find yourself alienated and unaccepted by most of society, you might as well have fun and get weird with it. Find like-minded people. Start a found family. Outsiders are already judgemental, so what are they going to do, avoid you even more? - Recovery takes time and you are going to end up different than you were before. That is nothing to be afraid of. You do not have to cherish it either. Just account for it. - If you wait long enough, things will change. Not encessarily in your favour, not necessarily to your detriment. They will just change. - Strength is in the community. - Eventually you are going to become the person that could have saved you that one time no one did. - Don't give personal information to people you don't know.

Just sat through 文字化化 (Homicipher) for 5 hours and finished it at 100% completion. Initially bought it because of a fanart I saw on Twitter and got curious but the game definitely did not disappoint. While the trailer looks ominous at first, the actual playthrough is not that scary except some slight jumpscares and the overall disturbing setting. The fact that you can add your own words and comprehension to the dialogues will definitely make you laugh, especially at the beginning when some sentences will look a bit out of place, or very robotic-like. This mechanic just makes the reading less passive as you have to type them yourself, additionnally to quickly respond when timers or QTE shows up. For those who are not a fan of the romance genre, the game is more centered on the action and adventurous aspect of the scenario : it does not have any scenes that are detailed regarding to the couples, it is more like discreet flirting. It also has a LOT of possibilities and endings, aside from many gameovers through the entire story. Overall it is really just amusing to see absolutely horrific looking characters acting very sweet : Scarlet and Crawler will definitely be even more than they already are the center of many fanarts :D Hopefully there will be a continuation or some additional content of some sort, cool and very creative game!

I have 50 hours in this game because I leave it on my monitor so I can pretend Mr. Crawling is sleeping in my bed with me at night. 10/10 game
